Tata Motors has started the deliveries of 2026 Punch facelift across India. This updated SUV comes with a new stylish design, refreshed interior, new features and turbo-petrol engine. Now the 1.2-litre turbo engine gives 118bhp power. There are also options like segment-first CNG-AMT and paddle shifters. The price starts at ₹5.59 lakh for the top variant, making it value for money.
Nissan Gravitas launch date confirmed
Nissan has confirmed the launch date of its new 7-seater budget MPV Gravite in India as 17 February 2026. It is based on Renault Triber and will enter the affordable segment. Where there will be competition with models like Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Rumion. Part of Nissan's India revival strategy, the Gravite will be locally produced and designed as per the needs of Indian customers.
Volkswagen Tayron R-Line bookings open
Volkswagen has started pre-bookings for the Tayron R-Line at a token amount of ₹51,000, with the launch taking place in February 2026. This premium 7-seater SUV will be positioned above the Tiguan R-Line and will come from local assembly. With features like 2.0 TSI engine, R-Line exterior, HD Matrix headlamps, it will compete with Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner and Jeep Meridian.
Hyundai i20 now more affordable
Hyundai has revised the prices of the i20 and relaunched the base Era variant, which starts at ₹5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Due to this the entry price has been reduced to ₹ 74,000. 6 airbags are standard across all variants. Along with this, features like digital cluster and Type-C charging have also been added. Magna variants have also become cheaper by ₹ 13,000.
