In Germany, the starting price of the 'Lite' base variant (42.2 kWh battery, 4-seater) is the same, while the price of the long-range 'Air' variant goes up to €33,490.

The EV2 is a compact B-segment SUV with a boxy and upright style at just 4.06 meters long. With a flat roof, vertical sides and progressive EV aesthetics, it utilizes space efficiently. LED headlamps, black cladding and sporty wheels in the GT-Line variant give it a premium look.

Its interior is quite spacious and versatile. With sliding and reclining rear seats (above Air trim) leg room increases to 958 mm. Boot space expands from 362 liters to 403 litres, plus there's a 15-litre frunk. The panoramic wide display has a 12.3-inch driver cluster, 12.3-inch infotainment and 5-inch climate panel. Slightly less power but better efficiency in long range. It has been introduced in two battery options. The WLTP range from the 42.2 kWh battery is 317 km (197 mi), while the 61 kWh battery is 453 km (281 mi). 10-80% DC fast charging with 400V architecture in just 29-30 minutes.

New Delhi. Kia has officially introduced its smallest and most affordable electric vehicle, the EV2, which is the new entry point into the brand's growing EV lineup. Positioned below the EV3, the new B-segment SUV will be manufactured at Kia's Zilina plant in Slovakia. It will be available in standard-range and long-range versions, as well as a premium GT-Line variant. The company has just introduced this car for Europe only. No details have been revealed yet on its launch in India.

The smallest model in Kia's EV lineup, the EV2 follows the brand's design philosophy and features styling inspired by larger EVs. Its length is 4,060mm, width is 1,800mm and height is 1,575mm, while the wheelbase is 2,565mm. The SUV has a tiger nose fascia, vertical LED lighting signature and upright stance.
