Kia Syros HTK EX Launch: Kia India launched the 2026 Kia Syros HTK (EX) trim in petrol and diesel. Its price is between Rs 9.89 lakh to Rs 10.63 lakh. In India, it will compete with cars like Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue which are already quite popular in the market.

New Delhi. Kia India has further expanded the Sciros lineup with the launch of the new HTK (EX) trim, which is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The price of 2026 Kia Sciros HTK (EX) petrol variant is Rs 9,89,000, while the diesel variant is priced at Rs 10,63,900 (ex-showroom). The company says the new trim “further improves the value proposition across the range.” The 2026 Kia Sciros HTK (EX) variant comes with features like LED DRLs, LED headlamps, LED taillamps, R16 alloy wheels, electric sunroof, streamline door handles, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, and rear parking camera with sensors. In terms of safety, it has been provided with more than 20 features, which include ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, six airbags and vehicle stability management.

Engine and Gearbox Options
The 2026 Kia Sciros lineup comes with two engine options – a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol producing 120bhp, 172Nm and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine producing 116bhp, 250Nm. A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard across all variants. The option of 7-speed DCT automatic transmission is also available with the petrol engine, while the option of 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox is given in the diesel variant.

Prices and competition
Currently, the price of Kia Cyrus ranges between Rs 8.67 lakh to Rs 15.94 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price, it competes with Tata Nexon, Skoda Kylak, Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Venue.

Modern Design Language
The 2026 Kia Seltos, built on the new K3 platform, has received several major design changes inspired by the Kia Telluride SUV sold in the global market. It is worth noting that the Aurora Black Pearl and exclusive Matte Graphite paint scheme is available only for the X-Line variant.

Kia Seltos 2026 or 2027 can be launched in India with new design, triple screen, hybrid powertrain and increased size, which will be longer than Jeep Compass.

New Delhi. KIA SELTOS is one of the highest selling models for South Korean automaker in India. Amid the growing competition in this segment, the car manufacturer is preparing to give it a generation upgrade, which will include large design changes, technology upgrade and hybrid powertrain. Although there is no official information on its launch timeline in India, according to media reports, second Jane Kia SELTOS can debut in 2026 or 2027.

New design language
Bold design and dimensions will adopt the latest 'OPPOSITES United' design language of the new Kia SELTOS brand, as seen on Syros. It will have a newly designed front grille, slim and angular vertical drls and new fog lamp assembly. Spy image shows that 2026 Kia SELTOS will have a full LED light strip connecting new alloys and tail lamps.

Will get new features

According to reports, SELTOS size will increase with generation upgrade. Its total length is expected to increase 100 mm, making it the longest SUV in the segment. In fact, it will be longer than the Jeep Compass and will offer more boot space than the current generation. Triple screen and more new Kia SELTOS will possibly borrow a trinity panoramic display from Syros, which will include a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 12.3-inch instrument cluster and dedicated 5-inch touchscreen for climate control. The infotainment system will support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Additional new features are also expected to be added to the feature kit.

1.5L Natural Aspirated Petrol Engine
Hybrid power will be hybrid with new Kia Seltos this generic upgrade. The South Korean Automaker is likely to electrify its 1.5L natural aspirated petrol engine, although it will be reserved for top-end trims. Existing 1.5L Natural Aspirated Petrol, 1.5L Turbo Petrol and 1.5L Turbo Diesel Engine will also be available. Transmission options will also remain the same.
