South Korean car manufacturer Kia India, which has made a strong hold in the Indian automobile market, has also made excellent sales in the second month of the year 2026. According to the latest data released by the company, Kia India's sales in February 2026 have registered an increase of 10.3% on an annual basis.

Kia India has sold a total of 27,610 units in February this year. This is the highest February sales in India so far in the company's history. Last year, i.e. in February 2025, the company had sold 25,026 units. In this way there has been an increase of about 10 percent at the annual level. This is the second consecutive month when Kia has registered double digit growth. Earlier in January 2026 also, the company had achieved a growth of 10.3% with sales of 27,603 units.

Their popular SUV portfolio has played a major role in the success of the company. New Gen Seltos is getting tremendous response from customers. Its updated design and safety features have kept it on top in the mid-size SUV segment. At the same time, Sonet continues to dominate the compact SUV segment. Being feature-loaded, it remains the first choice of the youth. Apart from this, Carens/Clavis and Carnival also find a good amount of customers.

Sales and Service Network

Kia is also emphasizing on network expansion across the country to increase its reach. Currently the company has 849 touchpoints in 382 cities. Apart from this, the company also has 122 certified pre-owned outlets, which are ensuring transparency in buying and selling of old vehicles. In the coming days, Kia may achieve further increase in sales due to new products.

The battery rental plan is available at just Rs 3.99 per kilometre, making electric cars very affordable for Indian families. Zeta and Alpha variants are also available.

Nissan Gravit 7-seater MPV launched

Nissan has launched the Gravity 7-seater MPV on February 18, whose starting ex-showroom price is Rs 5.65 lakh. This sub-4 meter family car is built on the Renault Triber platform but has been provided with features like Nissan styling, premium interior, sliding second row seats and removable third row. 1.0 liter petrol engine with manual and AMT options. It has 6 airbags. Delivery will start from March 2026.

Seltos crosses 6 lakh units sales milestone

Kia India announced that after its launch in 2019, Seltos has crossed the total sales mark of 6 lakh units in February 2026. 29 percent of sales were of top variants which shows the demand for premium features and safety. Regular updates, bold design and multiple powertrain options have kept it ahead of vehicles like Creta. BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro launched

BMW has launched the new X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro on February 16, whose ex-showroom price is Rs 74.50 lakh. Locally assembled in Chennai, this model produces 258 hp and 400 Nm power with a 2.0 liter turbo-petrol mild-hybrid engine. The xDrive all-wheel drive and 8-speed automatic accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. Features like the new Brooklyn Gray color, M Sport styling and BMW OS 9 make it the best combination of performance and luxury.

Its ex-showroom price starts from ₹7.30 lakh and goes up to ₹14 lakh. The interiors are premium, including LED lighting, ventilated seats, large touchscreen. Features include ADAS, 360° camera, sunroof, wireless charging. Safety has 6 airbags, ESC, ADAS level-1. It can be bought with 1.2 petrol, 1.0 turbo petrol and 1.5 diesel engines and the mileage is around 18-24 kmpl.

Kia Seltos

Kia Seltos is at second place in terms of sales. A total of 10,639 units of this SUV have been sold in January 2026. This figure represents an annual increase of 64.44 percent compared to the total 6470 units of Seltos sold in January 2025.

Kia Carens Clavis/EV

Carens Clavis/EV is at number three in terms of sales. A total of 5633 units were sold last month. This figure shows a slight increase of 2 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 5522 units sold in January 2025.

Kia Syros

Kia Cyrus is at number four in the list. It got a total of 275 new customers last month. This figure shows a huge decline of 95 percent on an annual basis as compared to the total 293 units sold in January 2025.

Kia Carnival

Due to huge decline in sales, Carnival remained last. It got a total of 58 new customers last month. This figure shows a decline of 80 percent on an annual basis as compared to the total 293 units sold in January 2025.

Seltos is at number three in terms of sales. Last month it got a total of 10,639 new customers. This figure represents an increase of 64 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 6470 units sold in January 2025.

Toyota Hyrider

Hayrider sales have also increased. Last month it got a total of 9156 customers. This figure represents a spectacular increase of 85 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 4941 units sold in January 2025.

Maruti Grand Vitara

Despite declining sales, Grand Vitara has registered its name in the list of top-5 mid-size SUVs. Last month it got 7030 customers. This figure shows a decline of 55 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 15,784 units sold in January 2025.

Apart from the top-5 cars of the segment mentioned above, 7003 units of Tata Sierra, 2243 units of Honda Elevate and 1666 units of Tata Curvv were sold last month. Thus total sales were 70,898 units. This figure shows an impressive increase of 40 percent on an annual basis as compared to 50,577 units sold in January 2025.

Kia Seltos: price and features

2026 Kia Seltos can be purchased in the Indian car market at a starting ex-showroom price of only ₹ 10,99,000. After the recent update, the design of this SUV has changed a lot and new features have also been added. The company sells it with premium features like dual-pane panoramic sunroof, level-2 ADAS, dual 10.25-inch and 12.3-inch panoramic displays, Bose 8-speaker sound system, ventilated front seats, 64-color ambient lighting and wireless charging.

Engine options available are 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol (113 bhp, 144 Nm), 1.5L turbo petrol (158 bhp, 253 Nm) and 1.5L diesel (114 bhp, 250 Nm). Talking about mileage (ARAI), it is capable of giving fuel efficiency of 17-17.9 kmpl in petrol and 19.1-20.7 kmpl in diesel.

Kia Cars

Kia Carens is at number two in the list. It got a total of 3,681 new customers last month. This figure represents an impressive growth of 40 percent year-on-year compared to the total 2,626 units sold in December 2024.

Kia Syros

Kia Sciros is at third place in terms of sales. It has got 1,116 new customers last month. This figure represents almost double the monthly increase compared to the total 554 units sold in November 2025.

Kia Sonet

There has been a huge increase in the sales of Sonet. Last month, this small SUV got a total of 9,418 customers. This figure represents a spectacular increase of 182 percent year-on-year compared to the total 3,337 units sold in December 2024.

Kia Carnival

The next number is Kia Carnival, it got the least number of customers. Only 75 units were sold in December 2025. This figure represents a 27 percent year-on-year decline compared to the total 103 Carnivals sold in December 2024. Apart from this, Kia EV6 and EV9 did not find a single customer last month.
