New Delhi. A unique sight was seen during the Republic Day parade in Bhubaneswar. Usually, white SUVs or old luxury cars are used for VVIP movement, but Odisha Governor Dr. Haribabu Kambhapati, breaking from tradition, chose Mahindra's brand new electric SUV Mahindra XEV 9e as his vehicle.

As soon as the video of this parade went viral on social media, the comment box was filled with questions. People could not believe that an Indian brand could make such a stylish and premium looking car. Many users even called it 'Indian Lamborghini'. Through this car, Mahindra not only proved its engineering prowess but also gave a new height to Indian automobile design at the global level.

Design that wins everyone's heart

The design of Mahindra XEV 9e is like a sports car. It has signature LED lighting at the front and an aerodynamic 'Coupe' style. Its long body and sharp cuts make it unique and different from any other car on the road.

Interior and Luxury

The view inside this Governor's car is like that of a spaceship. It has a 'triple-screen' dashboard, that is, the entire screen from the driver to the seat next to him is a screen. Its cabin is so premium that it competes with cars like Mercedes and BMW.

Strong battery and range

XEV 9e is based on Mahindra's new 'INGLO' platform. It has two battery pack options of 59 kWh and 79 kWh. Once fully charged, this car can cover a distance of approximately 450 to 530 kilometers. Its speed is such that it reaches a speed of 100 km per hour in the blink of an eye.

Price and Indian brand pride

The starting price of Mahindra XEV 9e in the market starts from around Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to around Rs 26 lakh for the top model. Seeing this car of Mahindra, people on Twitter patted the company a lot.

The arrival of the Governor in an indigenous electric car on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day not only presents the picture of 'self-reliant India', but also tells that Indian brands are going to dominate the roads of the future. This Mahindra car has now become a status symbol as well as a symbol of Indian pride.
