  • Maruti Brezza replaced the third best selling SUV in August 2025 with the sale of 13,622 units. However, this subscribe SUV saw a major decline of 29% year after year.

  • Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold 9,100 units of the Hyrider SUV in August 2025, compared to 6,534 units in the same month last year. The sale of this SUV recorded a huge growth of 39%.
  • Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet Subcult SUV finished eighth and ninth with sales of 8,109 units and 7,741 units respectively.
  • Mahindra Thar recorded an annual growth of 64% with a total sales of 6,997 units. However, its monthly sales fell drastically and the SUV slipped from seventh place to tenth place in July 2025.
