Mahindra XUV 7XO First Teaser: Mahindra & Mahindra released the teaser of XUV 7XO, which is the facelift version of XUV700. The SUV will get new design, features and the same engine setup. The company will launch this facelift model in India on January 5, 2026. Mahindra XUV 7XO is actually a facelifted version of Mahindra XUV700 which the company is going to launch with a new name.

New Delhi. Mahindra & Mahindra has released the first teaser of its upcoming XUV 7XO SUV, which is actually a facelifted version of the XUV700. This SUV is going to be launched on 5 January 2026. Newly designed headlights, changed front grille and connected taillights are visible in the teaser. Major changes can be seen in styling and features in 2025 Mahindra XUV7XO, while the engine setup will remain the same. Mahindra has launched many of its popular cars with changed names in the past. The company is adopting the same strategy with the XUV700 facelift.

Mahindra XUV7XO Design Details
The front look of this SUV seems to be inspired by the XEV 9e, which has a new grille, twin-pod design headlights, changed bumper and new LED DRL signature. Newly designed, aero-optimized alloy wheels can also be found in the SUV, although there will not be much change in the side profile. A new connected full-width light bar and a changed bumper can be seen in the rear section. However, there will be no change in the sheet metal of doors, fenders and bonnet. In terms of size, there will be no change in the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift.

Mahindra XUV7XO Interior and Features
Official details have not been revealed yet. But the new Mahindra XUV700 facelift or XUV7XO may get the triple screen layout taken from the XEV 9e. It may also include features like premium Harman Kardon audio system, BYOD feature for rear seat entertainment and auto dimming IRVM. Most of the features of the existing XUV700 will remain intact.

Engine and Power
Only existing engines will be available in the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift, which include 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel. The petrol engine produces 200bhp power and 380Nm torque, while the diesel engine generates 155bhp/360Nm and 185bhp/450Nm power and torque. At present, Mahindra has many cars in its portfolio and the XUV 700 SUV is counted among the most successful cars of the company.

New Delhi. Mahindra & Mahindra is preparing to launch two big products in the coming months – XEV 9S and the updated XUV. Mahindra XEV 9S, which is the electric variant of the XUV700, will debut on November 27. At the same time, the new Mahindra XUV700 facelift will be available for sale in early 2026. Before hitting the market, this model is being tested extensively and has been captured on camera several times.

Spy image surfaced
The XEV 9e-inspired spy image reveals that the 2026 Mahindra The front and rear bumpers may also be modified. The SUV is likely to feature newly designed, aero-optimized alloy wheels.

Significant changes are expected in the interior. While official details have not been revealed yet, the updated XUV700 may feature a setup like the triple screen setup seen on the XEV 9e. While the gasoline unit produces 200bhp of maximum power and 380Nm of torque, the oil burner produces 155bhp/185bhp and 360Nm/450Nm. Transmission options will include the same 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic units. AWD (all-wheel drive) system will also be available with diesel-automatic combo.

Expected price increase
A slight price hike is expected for the facelifted XUV700. Currently, the starting price of the SUV lineup is Rs 13.66 lakh for the base variant and Rs 23.71 lakh for the top-end variant. All prices are ex-showroom.

The booking started at 11 am today and the company says that the limited edition was sold in the E-SUV 135 seconds, which shows its tremendous demand.

At the time of launch, the SUV expert had said that only 300 units of Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition would be created, but on August 21, this number was increased to 999 units. With an increased allocation of 699 units, Mahindra started pre-booking for the Be 6 Batman Edition at 5 pm on 21 August. The buyers could pay the booking amount of Rs 21,000 from 11 am from August 23 to 11 am.

Favorite badge number facility

For the Special Edition Model, Mahindra allowed each customer to choose the badge number of his choice, which can range from 001 to 999. To ensure that each BE 6 Batman Edition Buyer gets the number of their choice, Mahindra made the number non -specific on the badge, which means that many BE 6 Batman Edition SUVs with the same badge number can be SUVs.

When will delivery start
The delivery of BE 6 Batman Edition will start from September 20, which is also known as International Batman Day. Launched at a price of Rs 27.79 lakh, Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is based on the top-slip pack three variants, which has a Batman-Inspired detailing inside the outer and cabin and this pack is expensive by Rs 89,000.
