Mahindra XUV 7XO First Teaser: Mahindra & Mahindra released the teaser of XUV 7XO, which is the facelift version of XUV700. The SUV will get new design, features and the same engine setup. The company will launch this facelift model in India on January 5, 2026. Mahindra XUV 7XO is actually a facelifted version of Mahindra XUV700 which the company is going to launch with a new name.
New Delhi. Mahindra & Mahindra has released the first teaser of its upcoming XUV 7XO SUV, which is actually a facelifted version of the XUV700. This SUV is going to be launched on 5 January 2026. Newly designed headlights, changed front grille and connected taillights are visible in the teaser. Major changes can be seen in styling and features in 2025 Mahindra XUV7XO, while the engine setup will remain the same. Mahindra has launched many of its popular cars with changed names in the past. The company is adopting the same strategy with the XUV700 facelift.
Mahindra XUV7XO Design Details
The front look of this SUV seems to be inspired by the XEV 9e, which has a new grille, twin-pod design headlights, changed bumper and new LED DRL signature. Newly designed, aero-optimized alloy wheels can also be found in the SUV, although there will not be much change in the side profile. A new connected full-width light bar and a changed bumper can be seen in the rear section. However, there will be no change in the sheet metal of doors, fenders and bonnet. In terms of size, there will be no change in the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift.

Mahindra XUV7XO Interior and Features
Official details have not been revealed yet. But the new Mahindra XUV700 facelift or XUV7XO may get the triple screen layout taken from the XEV 9e. It may also include features like premium Harman Kardon audio system, BYOD feature for rear seat entertainment and auto dimming IRVM. Most of the features of the existing XUV700 will remain intact.
Engine and Power
Only existing engines will be available in the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift, which include 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel. The petrol engine produces 200bhp power and 380Nm torque, while the diesel engine generates 155bhp/360Nm and 185bhp/450Nm power and torque. At present, Mahindra has many cars in its portfolio and the XUV 700 SUV is counted among the most successful cars of the company.
