Maruti Suzuki released the teaser of the new midsize SUV to be launched on 3 September 2025, which will come with Level-2 ADAS, Dolby Atmos and CNG options.

Competition and positioning
The official name and details of Maruti SUV will be revealed at the time of launch. However, it is still known as Maruti Escudo. In the company's product portfolio, the new Arena will find the gap between SUV Brezza and Grand Vitara. Given its positioning, this new model is expected to be larger than Brezza and cheaper than Grand Vitara.
According to media reports, the new Maruti will be the first model of the SUV brand with Level-2 ADAS (Autonomous Driver Assistance System) and Dolby Atmos audio system. Unlike Grand Vitara, it will be available with AWD (all-wheel drive) option and will also have powered tailgate. Other expected features include a 9-inch infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Wireless Phone Charger, Automatic AC, Ambient Lighting, and many airbags.
Petrol, Hybrid and CNG Power
The new Maruti Arena is likely to be based on the Global C platform of SUV Grand Vitara and its Paurtrain will share with its Nexa Sibling. This means that it will be available with 103 bhp, 1.5 L mild hybrid, 116 bhp, 1.5 L Atkinson Cycle Strong Hybrid and 88 Bhp, 1.5 L CNG engine options. If media reports are to be believed, the new Maruti SUV (Maruti Escudo) will be the company's first CNG vehicle with an underbody CNG tank.
Price (potential)
However, official prices will be announced in a few days, the new Maruti Arena SUV is expected to be priced at about Rs 10-10.50 lakh for entry-level variants and up to Rs 18-19 lakh for top-end hybrid variants.
