Within just 10 months it had crossed the sales mark of 1 lakh units and the remaining 1 lakh units were sold in 7.3 months. It was the second best selling SUV in the compact SUV segment in September. Its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 8.38 lakh.

Maruti Front has a 1.0-litre turbo boosterjet engine, which accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in 5.3 seconds. Apart from this, it has a 1.2-liter K-series, dual jet, dual VVT engine, which is equipped with smart hybrid technology. This engine comes with 6-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters. Its mileage is 22.89 km/litre.

The length of the Front is 3995mm, width is 1765mm and height is 1550mm, while its wheelbase is 2520mm. It has a boot space of 308 liters, which makes it suitable for long journeys.
