New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki India Limited recorded its biggest ever monthly sales in October 2025. The company managed to sell a total of 2,20,894 units. This happened due to huge demand during the festive season and GST reform. Of the total sales, domestic sales reached 1,80,675 units, which includes both passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles. The company sold 8,915 units to other OEMs, while exports stood at 31,304 units.

Domestic Passenger Vehicle Sale
In the domestic passenger vehicle segment, Maruti Suzuki sold 1,76,318 units in October. The compact car lineup includes models like Baleno, Swift, WagonR, Dezire, Celerio and Ignis. 76,143 units were sold, which shows the huge demand in the small car segment. The mini segment, which includes Alto and S-Presso, contributed 9,067 units to the company's sales.

These cars also sold well
Cars from the company's utility vehicle portfolio also sold well. Which includes models like Brezza, Ertiga, FrontX, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris and XL6, which together sold 77,571 units. This reflects the growing trend towards SUVs and MPVs among Indian buyers. Eeco van contributed 13,537 units to the monthly figure, while Super Carry Light Commercial Vehicle contributed 4,357 units.

Between April and October in the current financial year, Maruti Suzuki's domestic passenger vehicle sales stood at 9,71,764 units, of which total domestic sales including OEM and LCV sales stood at 10,60,866 units. Meanwhile, exports during the same period reached 2,38,763 units, taking the company's total sales for the first 7 months of FY26 to 12,99,629 units.

Record breaking sales in October
The record-breaking October figures reflect Maruti Suzuki's strong position in the Indian automotive market as festive season purchases and buyer interest in feature-rich yet fuel-efficient vehicles remain strong. The continued success of the company's extended SUV lineup has strengthened the company's position across all segments. Now 6 airbags have been given in all the variants of this MPV, whereas earlier there were only four. There has been a slight increase of 0.8% in its price.

Maruti Suzuki aims to include 6 airbags standard features in all its vehicles by the end of this year. After adding this feature in XL6, now only Fronks, S-Presso and Ignis are left. With an increase of 0.8%, its price has increased from Rs 7,000 to about Rs 10,000 on the basis of variants.

According to Maruti Suzuki, the manual version gives a mileage of 20.90 km/liter and automatic 20.27 km/liter.
