Maruti Suzuki has reduced ex-showroom prices of all the variants of Swift after GST 2.0 reforms, causing the buyers to get tax benefit directly.
New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki has reduced its popular hatchback, Swift ex-showroom prices. This step has been taken after the newly implemented GST 2.0 reforms, due to which the car manufacturer has brought tax benefits to the buyers on all the variants of Swift. After changes in GST slabs, GST has been reduced by 18% on many small cars, and manufacturers have rapidly included new rates in the dealer price list.

Why did the price decrease?
The GST 2.0 reform has written the tax slab for passenger vehicles. Due to which all 4 meters (less than 4 meters long) cars have become cheaper, which has reduced the total tax load which included an additional cess earlier. Maruti has updated the official price list of many models including Swift.
