Maruti Suzuki's Victoris overtakes Grand Vitara by selling 30,000 units in three months after its launch in September 2025, is available in petrol, CNG and hybrid variants. The company sells Victoris under Arena dealership so that it can be made available to more customers.

New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki's new offering in the premium mid-size SUV segment, Victoris, has crossed the sales mark of 30,000 units in just over two months of its launch. This SUV was launched in late September 2025 and by the end of November, about 30,057 units have been sold. This is a new name in the range of Rs 12 to 18 lakh, where customers usually first look towards Hyundai or Kia. Sharp growth from September to November Monthly data shows that there has been a steady increase in sales since the launch. Deliveries partially began in September, with 4,261 units sold. Victoris sales increased to 13,496 units in October. 12,300 units were sold in November, which is slightly less than October, but still a strong pace, especially considering the model has only been on the market for a few weeks.

Crossed the mark of 30,000 units
If we add the figures of all three months the picture is clear. Victoris quickly achieved five-figure monthly volumes since its launch and crossed the 30,000 mark by the end of November. Comparison with Maruti's own Grand Vitara: One special thing in the October figures was that Victoris even left behind Maruti Suzuki's own Grand Vitara. In October, 10,409 units of Grand Vitara were sold, while 13,496 units of Victories were sold.

More reach than Grand Vitara
What's working for the Victoris The reach of the Victoris is greater than the Grand Vitara as it is being sold through Arena dealerships. It has been presented as a slightly more premium and technology-equipped option than the Grand Vitara, especially in the lower and mid-price range. The specialty of this vehicle lies in its modern design and advanced safety features.

Range of powertrain options
Another big feature is its range of powertrain options. Victoris is available in petrol, CNG and strong hybrid variants. This makes the model attractive to different types of customers – whether they want an economical car or a high mileage daily use car. Looking at the pace of sales, it is clear that Victoris is becoming popular among many types of customers, not just because of one variant.
