New Delhi. The sale of the new Maruti Victoris in India has started only two weeks and so far it has got 25,000 bookings. Due to this tremendous demand, the waiting period of up to 10 weeks (70 days) has been done. The Victoris Petrol, Hybrid and CNG engines, which have been launched directly in the Hyundai Creta, come with options and have many segment-first features. The SUV lineup is available in 6 trims (LXI, VXI, ZXI, Zxi (O), ZXI+ and ZXI+ (O)), which are prices between Rs 10.5 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh (all, ex-showrooms).

Buyers also have an option to buy Maruti Victoris on a monthly rent starting from Rs 27,707 under the monthly subscription scheme. This monthly rent includes the cost, registration, insurance, maintenance and roadside assistance of the vehicle.

India's most safe midsize SUV
Interestingly, Victoris is the safest vehicle in his segment, which has received a 5-star rating in both India NCAP and Global NCAP. Its standard safety kit includes 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, tire pressure monitoring systems, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX Child Mounts. Level-2 Adas (Autonomous Driving Assistance System) is a reserve for high trims.

Maruti Victoris SUV scored 5-Star rating in India NCAP Crash Test, 31.66 in adult safety and 43 marks in child safety, 6 airbags and Level-2 ADAS.

New Delhi. The recently launched Maruti Victoris SUV has achieved a 5-star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) Crash Test. Midsize SUV has scored 31.66 out of 32 in adult safety and 43 out of 49 in child safety. Top-end ZX+ and ZX+ (O) Trims, which are equipped with strong hybrid and petrol-automatic powertrain, were selected for the crash test.

This new Maruti SUV includes 6 airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX anchor for rear seats and 3 point seatbelts with reminders for all passengers. It also completes the AIS-100 Padistrian Safety Standards. Victoris is the first car of Maruti Suzuki to include Level-2 Adas suit for high trims.

Maruti Victoris Adult Safety Rating

The new Victoris SUV was included in all three Tests – Front Offset Deforceable Barrier Test, Side Movable Debable Barrier Test and Side Pol Impact Test. In the front offset deformable barrier test, the model obtained 15.66 points out of 16.

Driver safety
The results showed good safety for the driver's head, neck and pelvis regions, while the driver's chest and knee safety were considered sufficient. For the front passenger, the safety of all body parts was considered good. In the Side Deforble Barrier Test, the SUV scored 16 out of 16 points. The result of the side pole impact test was rated as 'fine'.

Maruti Victoris Child Safety Rating
Victoris scored 43 out of 49 in child safety. It performed brilliantly by securing 24 out of 24 out of 24 and 12 out of 12 respectively in the Dynamic Test and CRS installation test. However, in the vehicle assessment test, it received 7 out of 13 points. This new Maruti SUV consists of ISOFIX anchor and support leg for the dummy of 18 months and 3 -year -old child, which are located at the back. However, there is a shortage of integrated child safety system.
