The price of MG Windser may not increase after GST amendment, but cars like Mahindra Be 6, Xev 9E, Tata Harrier Ev, Hyundai Creta Ev can be expensive up to 2 lakhs.

Up to 2 lakh rupees can be expensive
The GST amendments proposed by the Indian government are currently the most discussed in the country. The decision on this will be taken in the meeting to be held on September 3 and 4. However, just before this, the recent picture that went viral from a Mg dealer shows that the most preferred Windsor price may increase after GST modification. The poster states that the price of the best selling electric car can increase by about 2 lakh rupees! This is too much, right?
But, why are they taking more than EVS? Well, this question also came to mind, but here is a simple thing to understand that when you are taking something, its option will be affected. Similarly, as small cars will be cheaper, EVs and luxury automobiles are expected to increase prices. Currently, maximum tax is levied on electric vehicles in the country. However, after the amendment, some non -ice cars, which cost more than Rs 20 lakh, can increase from 5 percent to 18 percent. While this is just a hope, once the new GST bill is passed, we will know everything about its advantages and disadvantages.
What about Windsor?
Now, let's talk about the poster that we saw that suggested to increase the price of India's favorite electric car. From our side, we hope that it can be a strategy from the dealer to push more Windser models in the market. While the model is long, its price does not go more than 20 lakh rupees. This means that the price of MG Windsor cannot increase in the coming time. However, the price of other popular cars like Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9E, Tata Harrier EV, Hyundai Creta EV may increase.
