The poster states that the price of the best selling electric car can increase by about 2 lakh rupees! This is too much, right?
But, why are they taking more than EVS? Well, this question also came to mind, but here is a simple thing to understand that when you are taking something, its option will be affected. Similarly, as small cars will be cheaper, EVs and luxury automobiles are expected to increase prices. Currently, maximum tax is levied on electric vehicles in the country. However, after the amendment, some non -ice cars, which cost more than Rs 20 lakh, can increase from 5 percent to 18 percent.
