The new MG ZS EV Excite Pro brings the dual-pane panoramic sunroof to the electric SUV becoming the only sub 20 lakh EV to offer the feature. The model continues to come with other tech including over 75 connected features as well as Level 2 ADAS for additional safety. The model also packs a segment-first digital key, which allows the owner to start the car without using the physical key.

The top variants remain unchanged on the MG ZS EV which continues to get 17 Level 2 ADAS features and more

The hardware has been carried over on the new ZS EV Excite Pro with power coming from the 50.3 kWh battery pack. The automaker claims a range of 461 km (certified) on a single charge, while the electric motor develops 174 bhp sending at the front axle. The feature list on the top variants comprises a 360-degree camera, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, a 7-inch digital console, and more. The model also comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, Hill Descent Control, and more.

The MG ZS EV takes on the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400 in the segment with both electric SUVs getting significant updates in recent times. The latest update should keep the ZS EV in check with the competition, offering better value to customers.

The 2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift is priced between 14.74 lakh and 19.94 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in six trim options, the SUV comes available in two different powertrain variants: Long Range and Mid Range. The Nexon Ev facelift trims are Creative Plus, Fearless, Fearless Plus, Fearless Plus S, Empowered and Empowered Plus.

On the other hand, the Mahindra XUV400 comes available in trim options: EC Standard, EC Fast and EL (Long Range). This electric compact SUV is available at a pricing range of 15.99 lakh and 19.19 lakh (ex-showroom).

The all-new 2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift clearly comes undercutting its closest rival Mahindra XUV400 EV, as the base variant of the Nexon EV facelift, which is the Creative Plus is priced lower than the Mahindra XUV400 EV’s base variant EC Standard that comes priced at 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

MG Motor India’s centenary year offers include 20 per cent off on accessories, up to 40 per cent on value-added services, 10 per cent off on extended warranty and roadside assistance as well as a free vehicle check-up and wash. Are you an MG ZS EV owner? There’s some good news for you


As MG celebrates 100 years of its existence, the Indian arm of the OEM is offering a lucrative scheme for the owners of the ZS EV in the country. MG Motor India has partnered with EV charging infrastructure company ChargeZone to offer 15% off on EV charging sessions for ZS EV owners at any of the latter’s public EV charging stations. The discount is valid till November 30.

The company recently launched a new variant of the ZS EV. The new variant now comes armed with level-2 autonomous driving system which offers as many as 17 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The British-origin carmaker has launched the ZS EV with ADAS at a price of 27.89 lakh, which makes it the most expensive among all the variants of the electric SUV. MG ZS EV rivals the likes of Hyundai Kona and BYD Atto 3 among other electric SUVs in India.

MG Motor has said that the ADAS technology introduced in the ZS EV comes with three levels of sensitivity and warning. Among the features it offers are Traffic Jam Assist which helps in hassle-free driving during congestion, Forward Collision Warning to alert driver of potential crash and applying autonomous brakes to come to a halt, Speed Assist System to prevent over speeding, lane keep assist , adaptive cruise control and more.

In a separate development, MG recently increased the price of the Hector and Gloster, two of its flagship SUVs, from this month. This is the second price increase on the two SUVs within three months. In the latest price hike, the SUVs have become costlier by up to 78,000 depending on the model and variant one chooses. The hike is higher than the one MG Motor implemented back in May this year.
