Tata Sierra, Maruti E Vitara, Kia Seltos and Renault Duster are going to be launched soon in the midsize SUV segment with new technology and design. Tata Sierra has been taking the market by storm since its launch. From its look to its features and price, there is constant discussion in the market. Now many SUVs are going to hit the market to compete with it.
New Delhi. Tata Sierra has created a huge buzz among auto lovers. This SUV is coming to give tough competition to the segment leader Hyundai Creta and other midsize SUVs. Two big products are going to be launched in this segment soon – Maruti E Vitara, next-gen Kia Seltos and new-gen Renault Duster. Both these SUVs will be in direct competition with the upcoming Tata Sierra. Tata will also launch many more variants of Tata Sierra in the coming time. Let us know what is special in these three.
Maruti E Vitara
Maruti E Vitara will hit the showrooms on 2nd December 2025 (i.e. today) and its official price will also be announced on the same day. It is a 5-seater electric SUV, which will target the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE6 and the upcoming Tata Sierra EV (which will arrive in early 2026). E Vitara will have 49kWh and 61kWh battery options, which will come with electric motor. The dual motor and all-wheel drive setup will be reserved for the larger battery variant. Maruti Suzuki claims that the E Vitara will give a driving range of more than 500 km.

The second generation Kia Seltos will be launched on December 10, 2025. It will get the company's new design language and more premium interior. New headlamps and tail lamps, changed front bumper and newly designed alloy wheels are shown in the official teaser. The new Seltos will be longer and wider than the current model, which will provide more space in the cabin. Talking about the features, it will get panoramic sunroof, new seat upholstery and trims, redesigned dashboard and control panel. Mechanically, there will be no changes in the 2026 Kia Seltos.

The third generation Renault Duster will be launched in India on 26 January 2026. Its design and styling will be more mature and modern than before. Most of its design elements have been taken from the global-spec Dacia Bigster, which includes the new grille, Renault's signature logo, new headlamps, Y-shaped LED DRLs, new alloy wheels, rear door handle on the C-pillar and Y-shaped tail lamps. The 2026 Renault Duster will come only with petrol engines, in which 1.0 liter turbo and 1.3 liter turbo engines can probably be found.
