New Delhi. Nissan India is going to launch its new Gravity sub-4 meter MPV on January 21, after which its market launch will be in March 2026. This is actually a re-badged Renault Triber, which will see Nissan's signature design language and its platform, features and powertrain will be shared with the Triber. Nissan Gravit will be offered as an affordable option for customers looking for a three-row family car. After launch, the Nissan Gravit will compete with its siblings Renault Triber and Maruti Ertiga.
Design
Based on the CMF-A platform, the Nissan Gravit will get a redesigned grille, inverted L-shaped DRLs, silver inserts on the sporty bumper, new alloy wheels and redesigned taillamps with 'Gravite' badging. However, the headlamps, roof rails, ORVMs and other design elements will be shared with the Triber.
Possible Features
Official interior details have not been revealed yet. However, it is expected that the MPV will get flexible seating configuration like Triber. Talking about the features, the new Nissan MPV can get many features including 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cooled lower glove box, driver seat height adjust and armrest, cruise control, rear seat lighting, auto-fold ORVM.

Engine taken from Triber: Talking about the engine, the upcoming Nissan Gravity MPV is expected to get the same 1.0 liter, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which powers the Renault Triber. This engine generates maximum power of 72 bhp and peak torque of 96 Nm. However, the engine can be re-tuned for better performance. Transmission options may include 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox.
Nissan Techton is coming soon
After the launch of Gravity MPV, Japanese automaker Nissan will introduce its new Tekton SUV, which will be based on the third generation Renault Duster. This SUV will come only with petrol engine. The official teaser reveals that the design of the Tekton will be inspired by the Nissan Patrol SUV.
