New Delhi. Global debut of Nissan's new C-segment SUV will be held on October 7, 2025. NISSAN's Global Design Senior Vice President, Alphonso Albaasa, and Senior Design Director, Kane Lee, will introduce the “design vision” of this new midsize SUV. The official name and details of the model have not been revealed yet. However, there are rumors that its production version can come under the name 'Nissan Kait'. In India, the new NISSAN MIDSIS SUV will be sold in early 2026. It will be positioned against Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Victoris and other models.
NISSAN's upcoming C-SUV will probably be based on Third Jane Renault Duster, which is coming in early 2026. Both models will share platforms, powertrains, features and components. However, Nissan's midsize SUV will have a completely new design language. The official teaser confirms that the compact SUV will have NISSAN's signature grille, with two thin chrome strips running in its length. It will have LED DRLs connected L-shape.
