New Delhi. Nissan has offered attractive discounts on the entry-level and mid-level variants of its pre-facelift Magnite model. According to Autocar Professional, benefits of up to Rs 50,000 are being given on these variants, while its high-end variants are getting a discount of up to Rs 60,000. It is available to customers for a limited time, so that they can avail big benefits on the old Magnite model.

The starting price of the recently launched Magnite Facelift has been kept at Rs 5.99 lakh, which is the same as the old model. However, the price of its high-end variants has increased slightly. The top-spec CVT variant, which was earlier priced at Rs 11.11 lakh, is now priced at Rs 11.50 lakh.

Names of facelifted models changed
Along with the facelifted model, Nissan has also changed the nomenclature of the variants. The old XE, XL and XV variants have now been replaced by Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna variants. This naming change may be a bit new for customers, but it allows for better differentiation between the variants.

Engine and powertrain options
Nissan Magnite has a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The naturally aspirated engine generates 72hp power and 96Nm torque, while the turbo-petrol engine generates 100hp power and 160Nm torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox comes as standard with both engines. Apart from this, the option of 5-speed AMT with naturally aspirated engine and CVT with turbo-petrol engine is also available.

New Delhi. Nissan India has launched the facelift version of its popular sub-compact SUV Magnite in India. The price of the new SUV ranges between ₹ 5.99 lakh to ₹ 11.50 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom, pan-India). This is the first major update for Magnite after its first launch in 2020.

In this update, small changes have been made in the exterior and interior of the vehicle and some new features have been added. Most of the old design remains intact in the exterior of the new Magnite, although some minor changes have been made to give it a slightly new look. It has the same LED headlamps and boomerang-shaped DRLs, while the grille has now become slightly larger and new design elements have been added to it. The C-shaped chrome accents remain the same, but are now surrounded by a gloss black surround, which makes the front look of the vehicle more attractive. Apart from this, new alloy wheels also make the vehicle more attractive.

There is not much change in the layout of the interior, but Nissan has introduced a black and orange theme to make it more attractive. The naturally aspirated engine produces 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque, while the turbo-petrol engine generates 100 PS of power and up to 160 Nm of torque. 5-speed manual, 5-speed AMT and CVT transmission options are available in the vehicle.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the naturally aspirated engine returns a mileage of 19.4 kmpl (manual) and 19.7 kmpl (AMT), while the turbo-petrol engine returns a mileage of 19.9 kmpl (manual) and 17.9 kmpl (CVT).

2024 Nissan Magnite: Will compete with these cars
The Nissan Magnite facelift is available in 6 main variants which include Visia, Visia+, Ascenta, N-Connecta, Tecna, and Tecna+. You will have to pay an additional price of ₹ 50,000 more for AMT models and ₹ 1.15 lakh more for CVT variants. These introductory prices will be applicable only for the first 10,000 deliveries.
