Renault Duster may once again make a comeback in the Indian market very soon. The company introduced the right hand drive model of Duster during an event in South Africa. However, it is not yet clear whether this vehicle will be launched in the Indian market or not, but it is certain that the new Duster will be launched first in South Africa in March 2025.

Renault Duster was first launched in the Indian market in 2012. At that time this SUV had gained immense popularity among the customers. But gradually its sales started declining due to not meeting the new emission norms and increasing competition. Eventually, Renault will stop production of Duster in India in 2022. Let us know what features and changes can be seen in this new Duster.

Will get new engine
Three engine options can be seen to power the new Duster. This includes 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, 1.2-litre petrol-hybrid engine and 1.6-litre petrol-hybrid engine. Apart from this, manual and automatic transmission options may also be available in it.

With this new model of Renault, the company wants to strengthen its hold not only in South Africa but also in other markets including India. Now it remains to be seen how much Indian customers like this new Duster.

how will the design be
Renault's upcoming new generation Duster shows glimpses of the Dacia Duster. The design language of the new Duster is inspired by the Dacia Duster and its proportions are also similar to the global variant. However, it has a 'Renault' badge on the front grille instead of 'Dacia', but there is no change in the rest of the styling like headlamps, cladding, side silhouette and tail lamps.

Features like global model in right-hand version
The right-hand drive (RHD) version of the new generation Duster, which has been introduced, is equipped with the interior layout and technology of the global model. The layout, features and technology of the cabin are almost the same as the global model. The only difference is that the position of the steering wheel is on the right side.

The new Duster will see major changes compared to the models sold earlier in India. However, the quality and color choices of the interior do not seem much different from the older models. The company says that this SUV will be officially revealed in India next year.
