The new Renault Duster will be launched in 2026 and will become a large rival of Hyundai Creta. It will have petrol, hybrid, CNG and electric variants. The 7-seater Duster will come in the end of 2026 or in 2027.

The main features of the new Renault Duster will include many of its powertrains, including 1.5L natural aspirated petrol (for lower variants), 1.0L turbo or 1.3L turbo petrol (for mid and high trims) and a strong hybrid (only for high variants).

Strong hybrid
In global markets, the new Duster (sold as Dacia Duster) is introduced with 94bhp, 1.6L, 4-cylinder petrol engine with two electric motors and 1.2kwh battery packs. This configuration offers 140bhp joint power.
Renault is also considering CNG fuel options for the new Duster. According to media reports, CNG can be introduced as retrofit saluation through Minda Westport. The company will also launch the new Renault Duster Electric in the market.
Challenge for Creta
With several powertrain options, the new Duster Hyundai will prove to be a big competition for Creta. For your information, let us know, Hyundai Creta is also going to be hybrid under generic update in 2027, while its electric version is already on sale in India.
