This Sardar ji drives a Rolls-Royce matching the color of his turban! 15 such cars are parked in the garage

If a racial comment is answered with the world's most brilliant engineering, then it becomes the story of Ruben Singh. The story of Britain's Sikh billionaire Reuben Singh began with an insult. When an English man made fun of his traditional turban, Reuben chose a unique challenge to silence him. He decided to buy seven new Rolls-Royces matching the colors of his turban for seven days. Today, more than 15 Rolls-Royces are parked in his garage. Let's take a look at his car collection.

British-Sikh billionaire Ruben Singh's car collection is one of the most expensive private garages in the world. He is the CEO of alldayPA (customer service company) and Isher Capital (private equity firm). His estimated net worth is 100 million+ dollars. He owns more than 15 Rolls-Royces, whose total value is estimated to be more than ₹100 crore. Each car involved has been specially customized to match the color of his turban.

The most exclusive car in Reuben's fleet is the Phantom VIII, whose ex-showroom price in India starts at around ₹ 9.50 crore. It has a 6.75-litre V12 twin-turbo engine which generates power of 563 bhp. Its biggest feature is the 'Magic Carpet Ride' air suspension, which does not allow even the potholes in the road to be felt.

There are many shades of Rolls-Royce Cullinan in his collection. The price of this SUV in India is around ₹ 7 crore. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. It has an 'Everywhere' button, which prepares the vehicle for rough roads with one click.

The three special Cullinan and Phantom cars owned by Ruben are called the 'Jewel Collection'. The combined price of these three cars with Ruby (red), Sapphire (blue) and Panna (green) colors is more than ₹ 25 crore. It takes months of time and expenditure of lakhs to prepare the exterior paint of these cars.

The interior of these cars is like a palace. It features the Starlight Headliner, in which more than 1,300 fiber-optic lights on the roof create a night sky feel. Ruben's cars use leather seats matching the color of the turban and hand-crafted wooden dashboard, which makes it unique.

The base price of Rolls-Royce is just the beginning, but Ruben Singh has spent crores of rupees only on customization. His signature colors have been given names like 'Singh Juice'. From the coachline (hand-made paint line) of the car to the center caps of the wheels, it has been designed as per his choice.

Despite being so heavy and luxurious, these cars compete with supercars in performance. The silence of these 12-cylinder engines is so famous that even the sound of a needle falling can be heard inside the cabin. This is the example of Precision Engineering that Ruben has made his pride.

India will become the 'third home' of Rolls-Royce! Company is going to make 'huge' investment in India

India will become the 'third home' of Rolls-Royce! Company is going to make 'huge' investment in India

Last Updated:

Rolls-Royce plans to make India its third home market outside the UK, and is preparing for major investments in jet engines, naval propulsion and advanced engineering. According to Shashi Mukundan, Executive Vice President of Rolls-Royce India, the brand is preparing to make a huge investment in India. However, the investment figures have not been revealed yet.

New Delhi. British aero-engine maker Rolls-Royce on Sunday said it is planning to make India its third “home market” outside the UK. The company aims to unlock the full potential of opportunities in many areas such as jet engines, naval propulsion, land systems and advanced engineering. In an interview to PTI, Rolls-Royce India Executive Vice President Shashi Mukundan said that the company is planning “big investments” in India. He called it a priority to develop next generation aero engines in India, which will power the fighter planes being built under New Delhi's Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme.

Mukundan also said that Rolls-Royce can also make an important contribution in electric propulsion technology to increase the combat capability of the Indian Navy. He suggested that the AMCA engine could be converted into a naval marine engine and could also be used for electric propulsion. He also said that Rolls-Royce is one of the few engine manufacturers in the world that has the capability to “marinize aero engines”.

Preparation for big investment in India
Without giving further details, Mukundan said that Rolls-Royce is thinking of making big investments for its expansion in India. He said India has “scale, policy clarity and a strong drive to rapidly scale up a defense and industrial ecosystem” that is constantly evolving and refining.

Awaiting investment figures
He further said, “If everything goes well, this will be a big investment. So big that people will notice it, but I don't want to give any figures. What really matters is the impact of this investment, which will develop the entire value chain and ecosystem in all the areas of our work here.” A top Rolls-Royce official said that the company will sign two memoranda of understanding (MoU) with two defense public sector undertakings in India. One of these agreements is for manufacturing engines for Arjun tanks, while the other is for engines for future combat vehicles.

Business Roundtable with PM Modi
Mukundan also said that in October, CEO Tufan Erginbilgic told Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a business roundtable that India was going to be very important for Rolls-Royce going forward. “We have developed two other home markets outside the UK – the US and Germany. Now we want to make India our next home market. This means we want to work across every sector, and it is not just limited to defence.”

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Black Badge is as exclusive as they come in the exotic world with on-road prices stretching well over 12 crore.

The images show an all-black Rolls-Royce Ghost rolling into Hashmi’s residence while the actor was spotted taking a ride in his newest prized possession. Not many would know but Emraan has an affinity towards cars and has had the Lamborghini Huracan, Range Rover, Mercedes-Maybach S560 and more.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Black Badge though sits on top of the automotive pyramid. The Black Badge version adds a special paint option to the car, giving it a pristine look. Under the paintwork is a lightweight aluminium spaceframe architecture shared with the new-generation Phantom VIII. The styling remains instantly recognisable but the new-gen Ghost now gets sleeker headlamps with laser-light technology and C-shaped LED DRLs. The profile retains the sloping roofline while the rear sports a new bumper and LED taillights. The Black Badge adds carbon alloy composite wheels.

The cabin is equally opulent on the Ghost Black Badge with the special model adding Turchese Leather and Technical Carbon veneer. You continue to get the star headliner and the best of craftsmanship inside the car. Rolls-Royce uses about 100 kg of soundproofing material inside the Ghost, while a soft background noise was added to mitigate the complete silence.

Power on the Rolls-Royce Ghost Black Badge comes from the 6.75-litre, twin-turbocharged V12 engine tuned for 592 bhp and 900 Nm of peak torque. The Black Badge makes slightly more power and torque over the standard version with the torque kicking in from just 1,600 rpm onwards. This allows the Ghost BB to be quick despite its weight of around 2.5 tonnes. 0-100 kmph comes up in 4.8 seconds while the top speed is electronically limited to 205 kmph. The Ghost gets an automatic transmission with power going to all four wheels for better traction.

Interestingly, Emraan Hashmi is the second actor from the Yashraj Films Spy Universe to get his hands on a Rolls-Royce Black Badge. Previously, actor Shah Rukh Khan added the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge to his garage last year following the success of Pathaan.
