What powers the Royal Enfield Scram 440?

Now on duty is an advanced 443 cc, single-cylinder engine that is air-cooled. It produces 25.4 bhp of maximum power and 34 Nm of peak torque. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox. In comparison, the new engine has a 3 mm larger bore which helps it produce 4.5 percent more power and 6.5 percent more torque. Sixth gear should help reduce vibration and increase fuel consumption. It also has a new pull type clutch that offers better durability and a claimed reduction of lever effort by 0.75 kg.

What are the features of Royal Enfield Scram 440?

The Royal Enfield Scram 440 will be offered with spoke rims as well as alloy wheels, so there will be an option for tubeless tires as well. There is a new LED headlamp on offer which we have seen on new Royal Enfield motorcycles. It's not the best in terms of lighting. It also gets a switchable anti-lock braking system, a USB charger for charging mobile devices and a trippy navigation system with the same digital-analogue cluster that was in the works on the previous model.

What is the hardware of Royal Enfield Scram 440?

The suspension setup remains the same with a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear with 190 mm and 180 mm of travel respectively. Braking performance has been upgraded with a 300 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc. The dry weight of the Scram 440 is 187 kg, which represents a marginal 2 kg increase compared to its predecessor. The bike now comes with a center stand as a fixture. There is also a provision for a top box with a payload capacity of 10 kg.

The Trail variant will be offered in blue and green colors while the Force variant will get blue, green and teal colors.

Royal Enfield will offer the Scram 440 in two variants – Trail and Force. their price has been fixed 2.08 lakh more 2.15 lakh respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom.

The new Royal Enfield Scram 440 is arriving in 2025 with a slight increase in price. It has had many upgrades including a bigger engine and a new company.

Royal Enfield Scram 440 has a bigger engine, more power, more features and new colors. This also marks the end of the 411 cc displacement on RE bikes, but the motor continues in the Scram 440 in an upgraded avatar.

Royal Enfield Scram 440 is set to launch in January 2025. The new Royal Enfield Scram 440 is an upgraded version based on the Scram 411. The new model is distinguished by several significant improvements, such as a more powerful engine.

The Scram 440 will come in two variants, Trail and Force, and five color options – Force Blue, Force Grey, Force Teal, Trail Green and Trail Blue. At the moment, the price has not been disclosed but it will be higher than Scram 411, it is expected to be priced between this. 2.10 lakh more 2.20 lakh, ex-showroom. The design of the RE Scram 440 is similar to its predecessor Scram 411, but it includes several updates to ensure that it looks more attractive. This includes new colours, better LED headlamps for brightness and tubeless tire and alloy wheel options that add convenience and style. And for riders looking for an adventure or utility bike, it also includes panniers and a top box.

The biggest upgrade of the RE Scram 440 compared to the Scram 411 is the new engine. The Scram 440 is now powered by a new 443cc engine instead of the 411cc motor of its predecessor. This new engine has an increase in bore size by 3 mm which helps in improving power output by 4.5 percent to 25.4 bhp and torque by 6.5 percent to 34 Nm.

In contrast, the Scram 411 produces 24 bhp and 32 Nm of torque. The other big difference is the transmission: the Scram 411 comes with a 5-speed gearbox, while the Scram 440 boasts a 6-speed gearbox for better versatility and drivability.

The updated Scram 440 comes with a set of new 30/32 mm front piston calipers and an improved frame structure as well as switchable ABS. Meanwhile, the suspension set-up remains the same. It features a 41mm telescopic fork with 190mm of travel and a monoshock with linkage with a stroke of 180mm of travel.

The bike has a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel configuration, but now it is equipped with the option of tubeless tires and alloy wheels.
