Skoda is continuously doing better in the Indian market. There are only selected models in the company's fleet. They have seen an excellent surge in sales in the last month. A total of 5739 units of Skoda have been sold in January 2026. This figure represents an impressive growth of 39 percent year-on-year as compared to the total 4133 units sold by Skoda in the same month last year.

If we look at the sales report, Skoda Kylaq was the best selling car of the company last month. At the same time, sales of Skoda Slavia and Skoda Kodiaq have increased. Apart from this, Skoda Octavia has not found any customer in the last month. Let us look at the Model Wise Sales Report of the company.

Skoda Kylaq

The first number in the list is Skoda Kylac. It got a total of 3,220 new customers last month. This figure represents a spectacular increase of 159 percent on an annual basis as compared to the total 1,242 units sold in January 2025. The company sells it at a starting ex-showroom price of only ₹ 7.59 lakh.

Its interior is spacious and modern, with ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, digital cluster and a large 446 liter boot space. Features include sunroof, wireless charging, touchscreen infotainment. Safety includes 6 airbags, ESC, ABS, TPMS and 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. The engine is 1.0L turbo-petrol (114 bhp, 178 Nm), mileage goes from 19.05-19.68 kmpl as per ARAI.

Skoda Slavia

Skoda Slavia is at second place in the list. This popular sedan has got 1,946 new customers last month. This figure represents an impressive growth of 29 percent on an annual basis as compared to the total 1,510 units sold in January 2025.

Skoda Kushaq

Skoda Kushaq is at third place in terms of sales. It has received a total of 434 new customers last month. This figure represents a decline of 68 percent year-on-year compared to the total 1,371 units sold in January 2025.

Skoda Kodiaq

Kodiak is a hit as soon as it arrives. A total of 139 units were sold last month. This figure shows a huge increase of 1290 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 10 units sold in January 2025.

The Skoda Kodiaq L&K variant previously retailed at 41.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Despite the price cut, the SUV retains all of its features. Power on the SUV comes from the 2.0-litre TSI petrol motor tuned for 188 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. The model is available in a single-spec option with the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels.

The current generation Skoda Kodiaq has been around for a while and Skoda has already unveiled the new generation model globally. The next-generation Kodiaq is expected to arrive in India in 2025 and is expected to arrive via the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route.

Skoda reportedly will also bring back the Superb and Octavia to the Indian market later this year. Reports suggest that the current generation Superb will be reintroduced as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). Furthermore, the company has the Enyaq electric SUV in the pipeline for India, while it recently announced the made-in-India subcompact SUV that will go on sale in 2025.
