New Skoda Kushaq

It has been introduced in January 2026 and deliveries will start from March 2026. Engine options will remain only 1.0 TSI (115 bhp) and 1.5 TSI (150 bhp). Now 8-speed torque converter automatic will be available with 1.0 and 7-speed DSG will be available with 1.5.

Features include upgrades like 10.25-inch digital cluster, 10.1-inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, rear massage function, 6 airbags and 360-degree camera. Pre-bookings start at ₹15,000 and the estimated price will be between ₹11-19 lakh. Kushaq is known for its European build quality, driving dynamics and space, which will give a more premium feel than the Creta.

Nissan Tekton

It is based on the Renault Duster (CMF-B platform), but comes with Nissan's design DNA. Nissan Patrol Inspired's bold look, LED light bar, muscular stance and premium interior give it a distinct identity. Engine options will also be shared with Duster, which include 1.0-litre turbo, 1.3-litre turbo and 1.8-litre hybrid.

Power is up to 128 kW (174 PS) and torque is 189 Nm.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift

This will also start delivery in March 2026. Production has started at Chakan plant, pre-bookings are being done for ₹ 15,000. The updated design includes a new grille, illuminated logo. The interior features a panoramic sunroof, rear-seat massage function (segment-first), 10.1-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital cluster, ventilated front seats and AI Companion. Nissan Tekton

This is Nissan's new C-SUV, which will be based on Renault Duster. It will be unveiled or launched in March. Prices are expected between ₹11-18 lakh. Turbo petrol and strong hybrid options will be available. The design includes commanding stance, rear lightbar and bold SUV DNA. Skoda has started production of the updated Kushaq facelift at its Chakan plant in Pune. Its delivery will start from March 2026. Bookings are already open. The prices are going to be announced by the end of February. The estimated ex-showroom price could be between ₹11 lakh to ₹19 lakh. This is the first major update after the 2021 launch.

The new Kushaq adopts Skoda's 'Modern Solid' design language. The front has a bold grille, chrome accents, slim LED headlights and LED DRL light bar spread across the grille. There are new 17-inch alloy wheels and thick black cladding on the sides. The rear gets connected LED taillights, illuminated SKODA logo, new skid plate and spoiler. New Renault Duster

The new Duster was unveiled on 26 January 2026 and is scheduled to be launched in March 2026. This is the third generation Duster, which is bringing the off-road spirit of the old one with new looks and technology. The price is likely to be between Rs 10 to 20 lakh. Engine options include 1.0 liter turbo petrol (100 bhp), Turbo TCe 160 (163 PS, 280Nm) and strong hybrid E-Tech 160 (1.8 liter petrol + 1.4kWh battery, 80% electric mode). It can be purchased with 6-speed manual and DCT.

Tata Sierra.EV

Tata Sierra EV is scheduled to be launched in March-April 2026. ICE Sierra is scheduled to be launched in November 2025. EV is its electric version which will be built on Acti.ev platform. The price can be kept between Rs 15 to 25 lakh. It can be offered with 55kWh or 65-75kWh battery options, capable of delivering 500km+ ARAI range.

The design is retro-modern. Boxy looks, high bonnet, flush door handles and connected LED lights. The interior has a triple screen dashboard, ventilated powered front seats, panoramic sunroof, level-2 ADAS, 360 camera and premium audio. It will position between Nexon.EV and Curve.EV. With Tata's strong EV network and safety record, this family can become popular as an e-SUV.

Nissan Tekton

Nissan Tecton is a new mid-size SUV to be launched in mid-2026 (around May). It will be revealed in February 2026. It is built on the CMF-B platform (shared with Renault Duster) and the price can go from Rs 10 to 18 lakh. 1.3 liter turbo petrol engine (CVT option) will be the main powertrain.

It will get a design inspired by Nissan Patrol. Commanding stance, C-shaped LED lights, silver roof rails and muscular looks. The interior is going to have a large touchscreen, three-tone theme, wireless connectivity and advanced safety features. It will be manufactured in Chennai plant and will also be exported.
