New Delhi. Skoda Auto India has started booking the new Octavia RS. Octavia RS is the most powerful version ever, including sharp styling, technology cabin and strong safety package. Customers can book a new Octavia RS by depositing a booking amount of Rs 2.5 lakh. Skoda will bring only 100 units to India, which will be available as a fully built unit (CBU). The official launch has been scheduled on 17 October, and delivery will begin on 6 November.

Paurtrain and Performance

It has a 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 261bhp (195kw) and 370Nm torque. Power is transported to the front wheels through a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic gearbox. This sedan catchs the speed of 0-100kmph in just 6.4 seconds, while its top speed is limited at electronically 250kmph. To support the engine, the Octavia RS includes progressive steering, sports suspension and sports exhaust, which adds a special performance note.

Dimensions
The octavia is also practical with the RS 600-liter boot (expandable up to 1,555 liters), 50-liter fuel tank and five people seating ability. The octavia RS has a length of 4,709mm, width 1,829mm, and height is 1,457mm, while its wheelbase is 2,677mm.
