Kia Motors India has launched the new sub compact SUV Kia Cyros, which is the initial price of Rs 9 lakh. It has 2 engine options and Adas packages available. The booking started from 3 January.

The top speed variant of the car is priced at Rs 17 lakh.

New Delhi. Popular car manufacturer Kia Motors India has launched its much awaited Kia Syros sub compact SUV in India. The company has kept the initial price of this car less than Rs 10 lakh. The price of all this compact SUV of Kia starts at Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom). This kimak car is of the base HTK petrol model. The price of its top model is Rs 17.80 lakhs. At this price you are going to get the top speke diesel at variant. This variant is equipped with Adas.

Booking started on 3 January
The company opened bookings for this car on 3 January. A token amount of Rs 25,000 was fixed. Delivery mid -day for this car will start from February.

Adas package optional
Adas package is available in the top variant of this car which is optional. That is, if you do not need this feature, then you will not have to pay for it. If you choose the Adas package, then you have to do up to 80,000 on more price. You will find this feature in the top spec htx+ trim. The design of Syros is derived from global Kia SUVs like EV9 and EV3, packed in a measured toboy body with only a measured less than 4 meters. In the top-spec variant, 17-inch alloy wheels have been used.

Will get 2 engine options
Cyros comes with two engine options that have been paired with manual or automatic transmission. Petrol cirros buyers get 120hp, 172Nm, 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbo-petrol unit. Diesel Siros is 116hp, 250Nm, 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. There are 6-speed manual gearbox standard for both engines; Buyers can opt for 7-speed DCT with petrol variants and 6-speed torque converter with diesel variants.

5. Maruti Suzuki Fronx
The Franxx was the fifth most successful SUV with sales of 14,882 units in November 2024. Its sales increased by 51% annually. It had sold 16,419 units in October 2024, which was an increase of 45%.

The list of top-10 SUVs in this segment includes models like Tata Punch, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra However, among all these, there was one SUV which became number-1 in sales.

This is called the common man's Land Rover
The number one compact SUV we are talking about here is none other than Maruti Brezza. The company sold 16,565 units in October 2024. This figure was 16,050 units in October 2023. In this way, sales of Brezza increased by 515 units and it got an annual growth of 3.21%. At the same time, Maruti Front registered sales of 16,419 units, which was 11,357 units in October 2023. Franks sold 5,062 more units and got a YoY growth of 44.57%.

Tata and Hyundai performance
Tata Punch sold 15,740 units in October 2024, while in October 2023 this figure was 15,317 units. It got an annual growth of 2.76%. At the same time, sales of Tata Nexon came down to 14,759 units, which was 16,887 units last year. It faced an annual decline of 12.6%. Hyundai Venue recorded sales of 10,901 units, which was less than last year's 11,581 units. It experienced an annual decline of 5.87%.

Contribution of Kia, Mahindra and others
Kia Sonet performed brilliantly and sold 9,699 units in October 2024. This figure was 6,493 units in October 2023. It got an annual growth of 49.38%. Mahindra XUV300 also performed better and its sales stood at 4,865 units, which is 96.55% more than last year.

Sales of Hyundai Exeter stood at 7,127 units, which was 8,097 units last year. It experienced an annual decline of 11.98%. At the same time, Nissan Magnite registered a growth of 21.22% and its 3,119 units were sold.

Performance of other SUVs
Toyota Tasar sold 3,092 units in October 2024. Maruti Jimny sales declined to 1,211 units, which was 1,852 units last year. It had to face a decline of 34.61%. Renault Kiger sales stood at 1,053 units, which is 15.46% more than last year's 912 units.
