After the GST reform, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3xo, Hyundai Venue, Skoda Kyalak and Kia Sonet were reduced to a huge price, which has made these better options for Maruti Brezza.
One of Maruti's best -selling SUVs, Brezza has achieved a lot of success in the market. However, with recent GST change, some other SUVs now offer more value for money than Brezza. Let's look at some such cars. With GST reforms, many SUV prices have been drastically cut. However, Brezza does not get the benefit of this price deduction. According to the GST reform, cars with less than 4 meters length which have less than 1200cc petrol engine or a diesel engine below 1500cc, will get 18% deduction in GST. In this case, the Brezza has a 1.5-liter engine and hence it does not fit in that category.
Among all Tata cars, Nexon gets the biggest price cut, which is up to Rs 1.55 lakh, as it comes in 18% GST bracket. This heavy price deduction makes Nexon a great value for money option and is a great option for Maruti Brezza. Currently, the on-road price in Mumbai is between Rs 9.28 lakh to Rs 18.59 lakh, the price cut will make a big difference.
Mahindra's XUV 3xo gets a heavy price cut of up to Rs 1.56 lakh, which is the highest for any Mahindra SUV. Applied on 6 September, XUV 3xo is a very huge and comfortable SUV with a lot of features. This Mahindra SUV is a good option for Maruti Brezza as it has more features, technology and performance. The on-road price in Mumbai is between Rs 9.35 lakh to Rs 18.74 lakh.
Hyundai Venue gets the benefit of a heavy price deduction of up to Rs 1.23 lakh. This is an important price cut and a great option for Brezza. This price deduction will be effective from September 22. Hyundai 2 petrol engine option offers: 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine (118bhp & 172Nm) and 1.2-liter NA petrol engine (82bhp & 114Nm). This includes electric sunroof, powered driver seat, Adas suit, 8-inch touchscreen and more. The current price of Venue is between Rs 7.95 lakh to Rs 14.90 lakh in Mumbai.
Skoda's cheapest SUV, Kyalak, is already a good option. However, Skoda will implement the GST reform, and Kyalak will get a price cut of about Rs 1.19 lakh. The price of this SUV is between Rs 9.73 lakh to Rs 16.69 lakh in Mumbai. Kalak has been the best -selling model of Skoda for the last few months, and with the price cut, it can attract more buyers.
Kia has not yet confirmed the implementation of GST reform. However, we hope that Sonnet will get a price deduction of up to Rs 1.34 lakh. Sonnet can be a good option for Brezza because this price offers more features and more value after cuts. Kiya 2 engine option offers: 1.2-liter NA petrol engine (82bhp & 115Nm) and 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine (118bhp & 172Nm). The features include ventilated front seats, powered driver seat, 10.25-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch instrument cluster and more.
