Now, Tata Motors has achieved a major feat with its new Hyperion 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, which has been introduced in the high-spec variants of the new Tata Sierra. During the high-speed test at the NATRAX proving track in Indore, the Sierra equipped with this engine achieved a top speed of 222 km/h. This achievement not only makes it the fastest Sierra ever, but also makes it the fastest SUV in its segment, meaning Tata is the best option in the segment not only in terms of mileage but also in terms of performance. Tata Sierra has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the Sierra SUV will begin from December 16, 2025, and deliveries will begin from January 15, 2026.
