New Delhi. As 2026 is approaching, companies want to clear their stocks. This time the discounts are higher than ever before and many people believe that this could be the best time to buy a car. But this year the situation is a little different. At the end of 2025, some new vehicles like Victoris, Sierra and new Seltos have come in the market. This means that there is competition in the market. Many companies are preparing to make a big increase in the prices of all their models in 2026. Maruti Suzuki has given huge discounts on its cars this month and here is how you can buy Maruti Suzuki cars even cheaper.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
Grand Vitara sales were quite good until the arrival of Victoris. Victoris ate into the market share of the Grand Vitara. Victoris was priced lower and its top variant had more features. However, both the cars are built on the same platform and powertrain. Grand Vitara is also considered better in appearance. ADAS and smart tailgate are not available in its top variant, but the rest of the features are almost the same. Since Victoris is a new car, its sales are expected to be high. However, now Maruti is trying to increase the sales of Grand Vitara. Benefits worth more than Rs 2 lakh are being given on Grand Vitara.
- Smart Hybrid – up to Rs 1.85 lakh
- AWD – up to Rs 2.4 lakh
- Strong Hybrid – up to Rs 2.4 lakh
WagonR
WagonR is the best selling car of Maruti. You can get benefits up to Rs 58,000 on this. This includes a cash discount of Rs 30,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 3,000. If you exchange your old car, you will get a rebate of Rs 15,000, and if you scrap it, you will get a rebate of Rs 25,000. You can get a discount of up to Rs 60,000 on the fleet variant H3 Tour.
Alto, Celerio and S-Presso
Because of WagonR, these cars often get ignored. Maruti has given a huge discount of Rs 52,000 to attract customers. This includes exchange/scraping, corporate and cash discounts. These cars are already the cheapest in the market and this discount makes them even more affordable. This means you can buy the base S-Presso and Alto for less than Rs 4 lakh (on-road). Alto's fleet variant H3 Tour gets a discount of up to Rs 60,000.
Swift and Swift Dzire
Dzire is currently one of the best selling cars and is the only sedan from Maruti. Maruti has given a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 2,500 on it. Dzire would have sold well even without the discount, but Maruti has still given the discount. Tour S (Dzire) gets a discount of up to Rs 35,000 (Rs 10,000 discount on CNG variants). There is a discount of up to Rs 55,000 on Swift, which includes cash benefit of Rs 25,000, scrapping bonus of Rs 25,000 (or exchange bonus of Rs 15,000) and corporate bonus.
