New Delhi. Tata Motors has already announced plans to launch many new models in the Indian market. To start 2026 and implement the strategy of expanding its product lineup, the company will introduce the Punch facelift on January 13. This will be the first major update for the model, which is coming after the change in trim levels in September 2024. Till now, the test mule of this vehicle has been seen several times, which has revealed some information about the upcoming model. Before going into details, let us tell you that Tata Punch was first launched in 2021 and due to excellent sales figures, it has made an important place in the company's lineup. With the upcoming facelift, many changes can be seen in this vehicle, the purpose of which is to attract customers and further increase the sales of the brand. These changes can be seen in design, interior and feature list.

Tata Punch facelift: Design
Based on the earlier spy shots, the Tata Punch facelift may get a new front grille with an air dam at the bottom. To give a new look to the front fascia, the design of the headlights can be changed, which will be like the Punch EV. Along with this, DRL can also be taken from the electric variant. However, connected lights are not visible in the vehicle. The rest of the silhouette of the car will remain almost the same, but the design of the alloy wheels has been updated. Apart from this, new paint scheme options can be found in Punch facelift, which will have contrasting black roof. Along with this, the rear bumper has also been revised, in which skid plates have been provided.

Tata Punch facelift: Interior
Talking about the interior, the Tata Punch facelift will get a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo. There is a possibility of change in the dashboard layout, in which a 10.25-inch infotainment system and touch-enabled buttons for other controls can be provided. To give a premium feel, the company can also provide 360-degree camera, auto-folding ORVMs and other features.

Tata Punch facelift: Powertrain
Talking about the engine, the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine of the current model can be given in Tata Punch facelift. This engine generates power of 88 HP and peak torque of 115 Nm. It also has the option of CNG powertrain, which gives power of 73.5 HP and torque of 103 Nm. For transmission, the option of 5-speed manual gearbox and 5-speed AMT will be available.

Tata Punch facelift: expected price
Currently, the price of Tata Punch starts from Rs 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom). After facelift, its price may increase to around Rs 6 lakh. After launch, this model will compete with Hyundai Exeter, Citroen C3 and other vehicles.

New Delhi. Tata Motors has prepared to return many new generation models, facelift and special edition with seven new names. Future's Tata Product Series will be based on different platforms. The price of these models will be between Rs 10 lakh to 20 lakhs, including petrol/diesel, electric and hybrid segments. In the sub-4 meter SUV segment, the domestic automaker will introduce three models, including Tata Punch facelift, Tata Scarlet (fully new) and Next Jane Tata Nexon.

Tata Panch facelift
Changes in the design of 2025 Tata Panch will be inspired by Panch EV. It will have thin headlamps, redesigned bumpers, new LED DRL signature and new alloy wheels. The subcompact SUV is likely to get a 10.25-inch large touchscreen infotainment system, a full-fledged digital instrument cluster and two-spoke steering wheels like ultraz. A touch-based HVAC control panel can also be introduced. For power, the updated punch will continue to use 86bhp, 1.2L NA petrol and 73.4bhp, CNG engine.

Tata scarlet

Codename Scarlett, a fully new Tata Compact SUV will come with Boxy Stance with inspired design elements from Sierra. This will be based on a monocock platform, which will support several powertrains. While the official engine details are not currently available, the new Tata Scarlett Subcompact SUV is expected to be introduced with 120bhp of Nexon, 1.2L turbo petrol, 125bhp of curve, 1.2L TGDI petrol or a completely new 1.5L petrol engine. An electric variant of scarlet can also be introduced later.

New Jane Tata Nexon
Tata is also working on the new Nexon. The new model will be designed on the new design of the current X1 architecture. 2027 is expected to upgrade major design changes and feature for Tata Nexon. The existing petrol and CNG powertrain option is expected to remain, while diesel can be discontinued due to upcoming BS7 Emishine Standards.
