According to the company, the fuel efficiency of MT is 20.6kmpl and AT is 21.2kmpl. The price of its diesel variant can range from Rs 8.95 lakh to Rs 13.43 lakh (ex-showroom). Its ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 10.64 lakh to Rs 15.51 lakh. The company claims that the mileage of Venue MT is 20.99kmpl, while the mileage of the automatic version is 17.90kmpl. The ARAI mileage of the old Venue diesel manual was 23.7kmpl.

New Delhi. Tata Motors set the record for the highest monthly cell in September 2025, selling 59,667 units, while 41,063 units were sold in September 2024. The Nexon Subcompact SUV emerged as the top sales contract with a sale of over 22,500 units, which is the highest cell for any Tata Motors passenger vehicle so far. Panch attracted a lot of buyers with his modern design and feature-pack cabins, while Harrier and Safari maintained their sales.

Updated Nexon line-up

Earlier this year, Tata Motors updated the Nexon lineup with new color schemes and additional features. The subcompact SUV is currently available with three engine options – 120bhp, 1.2L turbo petrol, 115bhp, 1.5L turbo diesel and 100bhp, 1.2L Turbo Petrol+ CNG.

New-Zen Tata Nexon Launch Timeline
Tata Nexon, first launched in 2017, received two major facelifts in 2020 and 2023. While the current generation model has been in the market for 8 years, it is going to get a generic upgrade in 2027. The existing X1 platform in the new Nexon is expected to see the structural updates as well as significant cosmetic changes and new features.

Petrol and CNG option
2027 Tata Nexon is expected to maintain existing petrol and CNG engine options. However, it remains to be seen whether the diesel engine will continue in the next generation. The current 1.5L diesel engine uses the BS6 Phase II Emission Norms using an expensive SCR (selected Catatic Reduction) system, but it will be expensive to upgrade to complete the upcoming BS7 emission norms.

In the subcompact SUV segment, the new Nexon Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonnet, Skoda Kyalak and Mahindra will continue to compete with the XUV 3xo. After the change in GST, the prices of the subcompact SUV have now increased to Rs 1.55 lakh cheaper, which now range from Rs 7.31 lakh to Rs 14.05 lakh (all, ex-showrooms).
