Safety of new Tata Punch – 5 star rating
During the launch of the all-new Punch, Tata said that this car has achieved a 5-star BNCAP crash rating. This was also expected from Tata. Apart from the BNCAP crash test, Tata also conducted an internal crash test in which the Punch was hit head-on into a stationary truck at a speed of 64 km/h. So what was the result? The passenger cell remained completely safe. After the collision all the doors were unlocked and opened. The fuel system remained sealed. The seat belt remained secure and unfastened easily. Front airbags deployed.
Amazing smart design
This achievement has been achieved through the use of high-strength materials and smart design, which increases crashworthiness.
