The company will gift the top variant of its upcoming SUV Tata Sierra to every member of the women's team. The launch of Tata Sierra is scheduled for 25th November. Was a superhit in the 90s
Tata Sierra SUV was first launched in 1991. Industry experts consider Tata Sierra as the country's first SUV. Since in the current times the demand for SUVs is higher than ever, the company has decided to re-launch it in the Indian market. The official specifications of this SUV have not been revealed yet, but some features have definitely been revealed.

Engine and Performance
The new Sierra is likely to be launched with both petrol and diesel engine options.

petrol: It may have a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine which can generate around 170 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque.

diesel: It can come with a 1.5-litre diesel engine giving power of about 118 PS and torque of 260 Nm.

Transmission: Both engines are expected to be offered with 6-speed manual and automatic (DCT/TC) gearbox options.

EV Option: An all-electric (EV) version of the Sierra is also expected to come, which can have multiple battery pack options to give a range of 400 km to 500 km.

Design and features
Sierra will retain the heritage of its classic boxy design and 3 door look, but it will definitely see many modern changes.

Exterior: It will have vertically-stacked headlamps, connected LED DRLs and Tata's signature connected LED tail lamp setup. Like the older Sierra, it may have a larger rear quarter glass window.

Interior: The cabin will have a premium and spacious feel. It can be provided with features like triple-screen layout (digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment, and co-passenger display), panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control and JBL premium sound system.

Safety: In terms of safety, it can be equipped with many modern features like Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), 6 to 7 airbags, 360-degree camera, ESC, and hill-hold assist.

New Delhi. Tata Sierra is all set to make a comeback on 25th November 2025. The brand has recently released a teaser which has revealed a major feature of its interior. The teaser shows that this car is going to come with triple screen setup, this is a very special feature in itself. Because, you will rarely find such cars which have triple screen setup. However, these features of Sierra will be available only in high end variants. This feature will not be provided in the base variant.

The new teaser shows that the company has paid a lot of attention to the Sierra's dashboard, revealing a 3-screen setup – a design previously seen on test mules. Two of these screens serve as infotainment displays, and while Tata hasn't revealed the user interface, the teaser suggests that both displays can mirror the same content, giving passengers better access to entertainment or navigation data. The digital instrument cluster looks similar to the one seen on the Tata Curve, with familiar graphics and layout. The display also shows a lane departure warning icon, confirming that the production model will have the ADAS suite.

360-degree camera
Borrowing interior bits from the Curve, the Sierra gets a touch-based climate control panel, with buttons for a powered tailgate, a 360-degree camera and dual-zone temperature control with a 'Sync' option. The teaser also shows a 4-spoke steering wheel with a Tata logo and touch-sensitive controls, as well as an auto-dimming IRVM. The dual-tone gray and black cabin theme also resembles the design language seen on the Curve EV.

Talking about the features, Sierra will also have panoramic sunroof, front and rear parking sensors and rear window sunshades. Other features include ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, 6 airbags and an electronic parking brake.

Engine and Power
Under the hood, the Tata Sierra is expected to share its 1.5-litre powertrain with the Curve, Harrier and Safari. These include a 118hp 1.5-litre diesel, a new 170hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will likely be paired with both manual and automatic transmissions.

New Delhi. Tata company has officially released the first teaser of its much awaited car Sierra. This car has been creating buzz in the market for a long time. People are eagerly waiting for its launch. Now the company has unveiled its launch date. The company has confirmed that this SUV will hit the market on 25 November 2025. This car will fall in the midsize SUV segment and will be placed between the Curve and Harrier in the company's portfolio. This SUV will be available with both electric (EV) and ICE (petrol/diesel) powertrains, with the ICE version to be launched first. Let us tell you about this car in detail.

Engine and Power
The company's new 1.5 liter turbo GDI engine is likely to be provided in the new Tata Sierra and its maximum power will be 170 PS and it will give a torque of 280 Nm. Talking about the diesel engine variant, it can be given the same 2.0 liter engine of Stellantis with less power tuning or 1.5 liter engine of Curve.

Electric Sierra range and technology
The electric Sierra will probably be built on the same platform on which the Harrier EV is based and if we talk about battery and range, it is expected to come in two battery pack configurations, in which the larger pack will be capable of providing a driving range of more than 500 kilometers. In this, the facility of fast charging and bidirectional charging (powering home appliances from the vehicle battery) will be provided.

Design and interior
The old identity of Sierra has been retained in the design, but has been updated according to the new times. The signature signature wraparound rear glass panel can be found in Sierra, which has been given a sleek and aerodynamic design. The square wheel arches, a prominent LED light bar at the rear and the new split headlamp design at the front give it a powerful look.

Triple screen setup i.e. three displays have been provided in the cabin. One for the driver, one for the infotainment system and one for the front passenger. Along with this, the vehicle is likely to get premium features like panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charger, ventilated front seats and a Harmon audio setup along with premium materials, dual-tone interior theme and ambient lighting.

The naturally aspirated gasoline unit will power the entry-level variants, allowing Tata to offer the SUV at an aggressive starting price.

The Tata Sierra is in the final testing phase, which will include electric powertrain, floating three-screen setup, high tech features and petrol diesel variants in 2026.

New Delhi. The much awaited Tata Sierra is passing through the final testing phase before its market launch. The fresh spy image features a heavy calamoplage vehicle with a boxy stance, shark fin antenna and flush door handles. Steel wheels and hubcaps show that the seen Test was the base variant. 19-inch alloy wheels can be offered in production ready top variants.

Dhansu interior
Square Wheel Arch cladding, high set-bone and signature curved-over rear Windows will further enhance its impressive appearance. The SUV will have a split headlamp setup on the front and LED light strip connected to the rear. The previous spy image confirms that Tata Sierra will have a floating three-screen setup, with each screen of about 12.3-inch. One screen will serve as infotainment systems, the other as instrument cluster and the third will be for the front co-passenger. The SUV will have dual-tone dashboard, harmon sound system, herrier eV-sound for-spoke steering wheel which will have Illuminated Tata logo and ambient lights.

Tata Sierra's base variant can miss some premium features such as panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). Other major features may include wireless phone charger, 360-degree cameras, 6 airbags, electronic stability control and more.

Poetrain taken from Harrier EV?
Tata Sierra will initially be introduced with electric powertrain, which will probably be taken from the Harrier EV. The Harrier EV has a single motor with 65kwh battery and single and dual motors with 75kwh battery pack. The small battery version gives a range of 538km, while the big battery variant gives 627km (75kh RWD) and 622km (75KWH AWD). In 2026, petrol and diesel version ICE-guard Sierra will have a new 1.5L natural aspirated petrol and 2.0L diesel engines early next year. Later, a new, more powerful 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine will be added to the SUV model lineup.
