Tata Sierra Base Model Features: Dual screen setup, HUD, LED headlamps, steel wheels and 1.5L petrol engine can be found in the base variant of Tata Sierra. Tata Sierra EV may arrive in 2026. The company is going to present it officially on 25th November. This is one of the biggest launches of this year. After launch, this car will compete with very popular cars like Hyundai Creta.
New Delhi. The upcoming Tata Sierra has been the talk of the town ever since it was first seen in concept form at the 2020 Auto Expo. As the market launch of the SUV approaches, the discussion about it has increased even more. Some details about this SUV have been officially revealed, while some are still behind the scenes. Tata has not yet announced the complete feature list of the base variant of Sierra. However, here we take a look at what you can expect from the most affordable trim.
Tata Sierra base variant features
A recently released teaser has shown a dual screen setup in the interior of Sierra, which can be offered in lower variants. Higher end trims can have a three-screen layout, including touchscreen infotainment, digital driver display and a dedicated front passenger display. Interestingly, the dual screen setup will feature a traditional digital instrument cluster with a hooded binnacle.

There will also be a head-up display (HUD) with dual screen setup, which was not there in the model with triple screen setup. Features like two-spoke illuminated steering wheel with mounted controls, height adjustable driver seat, rear seat armrest with cupholders, reverse parking sensors, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, multiple airbags, ABS with EBD and Isofix child mounts could be part of the standard equipment list.
Design Details
The Tata Sierra base variant will have LED headlamps with DRLs, LED taillamps, flush door handles and steel wheels. Larger alloy wheels may be reserved for higher trims. Lower variants may get monotone color schemes, while dual-tone finishes may be exclusive to the top-end trims.
engine options
According to reports, the new 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine may be reserved for the lower trims. The high end variants may have all-new 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel engines. Tata Sierra EV, which is likely to arrive in early 2026, could be based on mid to high end trims.
