The next major launch of Tata Motors will be Next Jane Sierra, which will come with Electric Povertrain in October or November and in early 2026 with ICE (internal combustion engine) engine. In the Midsize SUV segment, the new Tata Sierra will compete with models like Hyundai Creta, Kiya Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushak, Toyota Hyrider, Volkswagen Tigun and Honda Eleivet. Floating triple screen setup
Spy images have confirmed that Tata Sierra will have a large floating triple screen setup. A central touchscreen infotainment system, a completely digital instrument console and a passenger side display.

Safety

Like other Tata SUVs in Safety, Sierra will offer several advance safety features including Level-2 ADAS (Autonomous Driver Assistance System), Electronic Stability Program, 360-Digry Camera, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Hill Hold/Decant Control and more.

4-seater lounge cabin
The lounge variant may contain a large L-shape sofa-like rear seating which can come into production. The concept model featured rear seat entertainment screen, phone charger, several connectivity options, foldable tray tables and arm rests. However, Sierra's 4-seater lounge variants have not yet been seen testing.

Different platforms for ICE and EV

Tata Sierra EV will be built on the active.EV platform which is also used in Panch EV and Curve EV, while the ICE-Purd variant will be based on Atlas Architecture.

Electric powertrain
Electric can borrow 65kwh and 75kwh battery packs from Sierra Harrier EV; However, the driving range may vary. The QWD system SUV's electric variant is expected to offer QWD or AWD Drivetrain option.

Dual cabin layouts

The lounge version will have two wide rear seats which will have sufficient legumes and otoman functions. It will also have rear seat entertainment screen, foldable tray tables and arm rests, phone chargers and many connectivity options. These features are not in the Creta.

Long driving range
The 65kwh and 75kwh battery versions of Harrier EV claims 538 km and 627 km (RWD)/622 km (AWD) MIDC range respectively. If these batteries are also given in Sierra, then it is expected to give a range of 500 km -600 km. In comparison, Hyundai Creta Electric comes with 42kwh and 51.4kwh battery pack options, promising 390 km and 473 km ARAI-claimed range respectively.
