The on-road prices of Tesla Model Y are almost the same in Delhi and Mumbai, but, in Gurugram it is quite expensive because Haryana has high road tax and registration fees. The price of model Y Rwd in Delhi and Mumbai starts at around ₹ 61 lakh, while in Gurugram its price starts at ₹ 66.7 lakhs.

The on-road price of the base model Y RWD in Delhi and Mumbai is almost the same, with a slight difference of a few hundred rupees. The same model Y RWD is quite expensive in Gurugram because Haryana has more road tax and registration fees.

The price difference between Gurugram and Delhi/Mumbai can be up to ₹ 5.7 lakh, according to the CNBC TV18, factors affecting the price, on-road prices include ex-showroom price, RTO charge, insurance and other possible fees. For example, model Y RWD has an on-road price of ₹ 61,07,190 in Mumbai, while in Delhi it is ₹ 61,06,690. However, the same variant in Gurugram is available at a price of ₹ 66,76,831.

The company already operates more than 7,000 supercharging stations with more than 70,000 supercharges worldwide. Giving a big boost to India's employment market, Tesla has confirmed that it will be completely dependent on the local talent. The company said, “Indian citizens will be appointed to lead the company's operations in the country, which will create a domestic lead for a global brand.”
