The names of Renault Mini Duster, Mahindra Thar Facelift and Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift are included in this list of upcoming compact SUVs. Renault Mini Duster will give true SUV stance, Thar facelift will make off-roading more exciting, while Brezza facelift can be best for family use and city driving. Renault Mini Duster
This is Renault's most popular upcoming compact SUV, which is being known as the brand's 'Mini Duster'. It will fall in the sub-4 meter category and will be a scaled-down version of the original Duster. In design, it will have a more upright, boxy and rugged SUV silhouette. Instead of the crossover styling of the Kiger, it will have rugged body cladding, larger wheels and a stronger stance.
If media reports are to be believed, it may be launched in 2027-28. Engine options will be based on the Kiger's 1.0 liter turbo-petrol (HR10), which will be available with manual and CVT gearboxes. Power will be around 100 PS and torque will be around 160 Nm, which will give excellent performance both in the city and on the highway. Features are expected to include dual digital screen, wireless Android Auto-Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, 6 airbags and ADAS level-1 safety. The estimated price will be Rs 8 to 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
2026 mahindra thar facelift
This will be a more premium and modern incarnation of the existing Thar. Recently, a design inspired by Thar Rocks has been seen in spy shots. A new grille with double-stacked slots, projector headlights with C-shaped LED daytime running lights, redesigned bumpers, body cladding and new diamond-cut alloy wheels are part of the update. Updated tail lamps and windshield wipers will also be available in the rear.
There will be changes in the interior like larger 10.25 inch infotainment screen, full digital instrument cluster, new steering wheel, sunroof (in hardtop variant), electric power steering (EPS) and remapped button placement. There is also news of 360 degree camera being added, which will help in both city parking and off-roading. There is going to be no change in the engine. The estimated price will be Rs 10 to 18 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift
It is going to be launched around March-May 2026. Recent spy shots show new 16-inch alloy wheels, revised front-rear bumper, updated LED headlights-taillights and integrated spoiler despite heavy camouflage. Features like large touchscreen, 6-speed manual gearbox (new), wireless charging, heads-up display, ventilated front seats, single pane sunroof, ambient lighting and premium sound system will be added to the interior.
The engine will be 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol (103 PS) or a new 1.2 liter turbo-petrol option may come. 6-speed torque converter auto and underbody CNG tank can also be found, which will take the mileage to 25-30 km/kg. In safety, 6 airbags, 360 camera, ESP and hill hold will be standard. The estimated price will be Rs 8.5 to 14 lakh (ex-showroom). Brezza facelift can become the perfect choice for family users.
