Triumph Scrambler 400X: What you need to know
Triumph Scrambler 400X price released ₹ 2,67,731 (ex-showroom), offered in a single variant with four dual-tone color options. It is the most affordable scrambler offering from the British brand, launched to expand on Triumph's entry-level 400 cc range. Designed as the Speed 400's stronger sibling, the Scrambler features cosmetic and mechanical updates that distinguish it as a more off-road-oriented model. Riders are offered LED lighting, semi-digital instrument cluster, ride-by-wire with traction control, switchable rear ABS, Type-C charging and a set of protective components like knuckle guards and radiator guards.
Power comes from a 398.15 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox and assist-slipper clutch. Its tubular steel chassis is held up by 43mm USD forks with 150mm of travel and preload-adjustable rear monoshock. The Scrambler 400 runs on a 19/17-inch cast aluminum alloy wheel setup, equipped with a 320 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc. It is tall with 195 mm ground clearance and 835 mm seat height, weighing 185 kg in wet weight.
