Viral Last Rites Of Car: A unique incident was witnessed in Amreli, Gujarat, where a man bid farewell to his 12 year old car with Hindu rituals. Amreli resident Sanjay Polara and his family also arranged a banquet for 1500 people on this special occasion and performed the 'last rites' with full rituals in honor of his car. Sanjay says that his Maruti Suzuki WagonR car had changed his life and that is why he wanted to give it an emotional farewell.
Ever since Sanjay Polara bought this Maruti Suzuki WagonR 12 years ago, this car became a symbol of his family's prosperity. Sanjay told that with the arrival of this car, his construction business increased and his family also became prosperous. While bidding farewell to this car full of special memories, he decided to bury it in the ground.
Car buried in 15 feet deep pit
In a video viral on social media, it is shown that the owner of the car dug a 15 feet deep pit with the help of a JCB machine. After this the car was decorated with flowers and garlands and with chanting of mantras it was lowered into the pit. On this special occasion, more than 1500 people were present there and in the presence of saints and mahatmas, this car was covered with a green cloth and buried in the ground.
