2025-2026 will launch new generation models of Hyundai Venue, Kia Seltos, Maruti Baleno, Mahindra Bolero, Tata Sierra and Renault Duster, which will get design and feature upgrade.

New Delhi. The rest of the month of 2025 and the year 2026 is going to be extremely exciting for SUV lovers as many models are going to be launched in different segments. New Jane models of popular models like Hyundai Venue, Kia Seltos, Maruti Baleno and Mahindra Bolero are coming. Iconic names like Tata Sierra and Renault Duster will also return. Let us take a look at these upcoming new generation SUVs and cars, which are coming till 2026.
- The next generation of Hyundai Venue is ready to hit the streets after Diwali in November 2025. The SUV will get CRETA-inspired design change and feature upgrade, while the current 1.2L NA petrol, 1.0 turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel engine will remain intact. Tata Sierra will be introduced with electric powertrain at the end of 2025, followed by its ice-operated version in early 2026. While official specifications have not been revealed yet, it is likely that it can borrow electric powertrain from the Harrier Ev.
- The ICE version can be offered with a new 1.5L natural aspirated petrol and 2.0L diesel engine. According to reports, the second -generation Kia SELTOS global debut will be at the end of 2025 and its market launch may be in early 2026. However, Seltos Hybrid will come in 2027. The SUV is expected to get major changes inside and outside.
- The third generation Renault Duster will come to India in early 2026. SUV will get important design changes and more premium interior inspired by Dacia Bigster. A hybrid version is expected to arrive about 6 months after the Ice variant.
- The new generation Maruti Baleno will be the first model of the brand's in-house Strong Hybrid Povertrain. It can be introduced with a series hybrid system, with a 1.2L Z-Series petrol engine. According to reports, it is likely to give fuel efficiency of more than 35kmpl.
- The popular Mahindra Bolero SUV will finally get a much awaited generative upgrade in 2026. This is expected to be the first production model to feature Mahindra's new NU_IQ platform. While the SUV can retain the existing diesel engine, the interior will be significantly upgraded.
