3-row electric mpv
Vinfast's 3-row electric MPV Limo Green is set to hit showrooms in February, while the names of the remaining two new models have not been officially announced yet. According to media reports, Vinfast will launch VF3 two-door micro EV and VF5 sub-compact EV. While the VF3 will compete with the MG Comet EV, the VF5 will directly compete with the Tata Punch EV.

Three driving modes are available in Limo Green – Eco, Comfort and Sport. The same powertrain is likely to be given in the models coming to India also.

WinFast VF3
The VF3 will sit below the VF6 in the company's Indian product portfolio and will be positioned as an affordable urban electric commuter, with an estimated price between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 10 lakh. The VF3 has an 18.64kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery, which is paired with an electric motor, which gives a power of 44bhp. This compact EV gives a range of about 210 km on a single charge.

A 95bhp front-axle mounted motor is available with a small battery, which gives a range of 268 km (NEDC). At the same time, a 136bhp front-axle mounted motor is available with a large 37.23kWh battery pack, which gives a driving range of 326 km on full charge.

New Delhi. VinFast is one of the newest players in the Indian car market, focusing on electric vehicles. The Vietnamese brand made its India debut by launching the VF6 and VF7 SUVs, that too just ahead of the festive season. By December 2025, the brand has joined the top five in electric car sales and during this period it has left behind even big brands like Hyundai and Kia. According to VAHAN data of December 29, Tata Motors maintained its dominance in the EV market with 5,231 registrations during this period. MG secured the second position with sales of 3,054 units. Mahindra stood third with sales of 2,600 electric vehicles.

Vinfast's December Sale
Meanwhile, VinFast recorded sales of 321 units in December. Hyundai sold 238 units. Kia performed better than Hyundai with 272 registrations, but still lagged behind VinFast. price
VinFast's VF6 and VF7, which are the brand's models in India, are priced between Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This price range is one of the most competitive segments of the electric vehicle market, with many other brands also offering their products in the same range. Apart from price, VinFast has also adopted an effective expansion strategy. The company is planning to further expand its portfolio in the coming years. The next vehicle that could be launched is the Limo Green SUV, which has been spotted testing in India.

aggressive pricing
The VF6 and VF7 are already available at competitive prices and VinFast is expected to adopt an aggressive pricing strategy for the Limo Green as well. If this happens, the company can capture even more popular price segments. After the launch of Limo Green in India, a significant increase in sales and market share can be seen. Apart from this, the company is also planning to enter the electric two-wheeler market by launching new products. The brand had earlier told that feasibility study is currently going on on these models and they will be launched in the country later. Along with this, the company is also planning to develop charging network in the country.
