Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer Vinfast has formally started deliveries of its entry-level models – VF6 and VF7 – in India. The initial batch of cars has already been delivered to customers in various states like Kochi, Jaipur and others. The deliveries come just weeks after the brand's India launch in September 2025, when Vinfast detailed its long-term plans for local production, retail and service network.

WinFast VF6: Price, Specifications and Features

The VinFast VF6 competes in the compact EV SUV segment, targeting young urban buyers looking for premium features and good range, but without much more than that. 20 lakh price barrier. VF6 is located between 16.49 lakh more ₹ 18.29 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes in three trims – Earth, Wind and Wind Infinity.

Under the skin, there is a 59.6 kWh battery that drives a front-mounted electric motor that produces 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque. VinFast promises an ARAI-certified range of 468 km, with fast charging from 10 percent to 70 percent taking just 25 minutes. The SUV accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds, which is good enough for urban and highway driving.

On the inside, the VF6 looks contemporary and comes equipped with a 12.9-inch touchscreen, head-up display, air purifier, 360° camera and ADAS safety suite. It also gets seven airbags as standard, 190 mm ground clearance and a 2,730 mm wheelbase, giving it stability and satisfactory road presence. VinFast is backing the VF6 with a 7-year warranty or 1.60 lakh km as well as a launch charging benefit package, demonstrating confidence in its product.

A segment above, the VinFast VF7 is a mid-size electric SUV aimed at buyers who desire increased power, range and space. prices are From Rs 20.89 Lakh ₹ 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom), available with five trims – Earth, Wind, Wind Infinity, Sky and Sky Infinity.

The VF7 is available with two battery packs – 59.6 kWh and 70.8 kWh, and can be available with 2WD or AWD drivetrains. Power delivery ranges from 175 bhp and 250 Nm on the lowest variant to 350 bhp and 500 Nm on the AWD variant. The range-topping VF7 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, and packs a claimed range of up to 510 km.

Similar to the VF6, the VF7 features a luxury, technology-laden interior with connected functions, larger infotainment screen, ADAS and a panoramic sunroof on top trims. It also benefits from the same warranty of 10 years or 2 lakh km.

The drivetrain options are either on the front-wheel drive (FWD) lower trims, or are all-wheel drive (AWD) at the top. In terms of power and torque, the FWD variants range from about 177 hp and 250 Nm to 204 hp and 310 Nm, which gives 0–100 km/h. Gives somewhere around 9.5 seconds. AWD versions, especially to the sky trims, and you get about 350 HP and 500 Nm, leading to a 0–100 sprints to fall faster for about 5.8 seconds.

The range also vary: the small battery gives about 438 km (ARAI-rated), while the large battery pushes 532 km in some trims, depending on variants, although some AWD variants trade from a small range for that additional punch. DC fast charging tries to make for heavy batteries, charging 10–70 percent in about 28 minutes on the high-battery model, while the small pack goes down to ~ 24 minutes.

Vinfast vf7 earth

Earth base version is priced 20.89 lakhs, but it hardly seems basic. You get a 59.6 kwh battery with a front-wheel drive, providing about 177 HP and 250 Nm torque. Security is well covered with seven airbags, ABS with EBD, disc brakes around, and a 360-degree camera. Inside, a 12.9 inch touchscreen, wireless Android auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, hot mirrors and chelass entry make daily drives comfortable. Earth is for buyers who want a solid EV experience without paying for additional luxury or performance features – a practical pick that still seems modern and safe.

Vinfast vf7 air

The wind version creates with the purpose of resting on Earth and upgradation of technology. Price on 23.49 lakhs, VF7 air gets a large battery of 70.8 kwh, which increases the range, and the front ventilated seats, Mocha Brown Vegetarian Leather upholstery, level -2 adas, a operated tailgate and 19 -inch alloy wheels increase. Performance with 204 hp and 310 Nm also improves slightly, causing FWD VF7 bristers around the city. Sky Infinity, connects the high performance of the sky variant with a luxury of the roof of the nayabhiram glass from Infinity Trims 25.49 Lakh. It receives AWD, maximum torque and horsepower, large batteries for decent range, and all comfort, technology and safety features in other trims.
