Volkswagen has released the teaser of its new entry-level EV, which will be one of the 9 new models launched by 2027. This can be called ID.ONE or ID.1 and it will be based on the Meb platform.

New Delhi. Volkswagen's entry-level EV has been officially tied before its debut. This new model of the German brand will now replace the all-electric of the closed up hatchback.
This new Volkswagen EV will be positioned under Volkswagen Id.2all hatchback. It is likely to be called Id.one or ID.1, this new EV is expected to be a 5 door model, which will have a slightly elevated rugged and body cladding that gives it a masculin look. It will be one of the 9 new models to be launched by 2027, which will expand the global all-electric lineup of the brand.
In the teaser, rectangular headlamps with 3D LED graphics have been neatly integrated into a black grille with a VW logo. Entry-Level EV also has slim vertical DRLs on the front bumper and lightly fabricated fenders. This new entry-level VW EV EV will be built on the platform, which will be shared with ID.2ALL hatchback, although this is a small version will be. There is a possibility of getting a single motor setup and compact battery pack in the small EV to keep the input cost low. Entry-level Skoda and seat EV are expected to use similar underpinnings and powertrains for the European market.
Kai Gunitz, head of the technical growth of Faukwagen Company, had earlier suggested that the new entry level model would be successful in its concept, and will share some design elements and features.
