Launched in April
Volkswagen launched the new Tiguan R-Line in India in April 2025. The brand introduced this SUV through CBU routes. VW launched the only R LINE variant at Rs 61.71 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The first batch included 300 units of Tiguan R-Line, and it has not been sold yet. Despite this, despite being a very better product, it is being sold in two digits. On the other hand, Toyota is selling more than 2500 units of Fortuner.
To attract buyers, Volkswagen is offering a discount of up to Rs 3 lakh. This is a big discount, which includes direct discount of Rs 2 lakh. Also, note that the discount will depend on the availability of dealership and stock. So, keeping this exemption in mind, will you buy Tiguan instead of Fortuner?
