Maruti's small cars are not only performing well in sales, a 7-seater model of the company is also no less. People are liking it so much in the market that last month this car stood second in the sales list. Here we are talking about Maruti's best selling 7-seater Maruti Ertiga, whose price ranges between Rs 8.69 lakh to Rs 13.03 lakh (ex-showroom).
What was the sales in August?
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga remained included in the list of best selling cars in August also. This car sold 18,580 units in August 2024 and was the second best selling car in the sales list after Maruti Brezza. Whereas in August last year, 14,572 units were sold.
Engine, Features and Mileage
Maruti Ertiga gets a 1.5-litre K15C smart hybrid petrol engine which produces maximum power of 102bhp and torque of 136.8Nm. Both 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options are offered with this engine. Its CNG variant is available in 5-speed manual gearbox. In CNG mode, this car generates power of 87bhp and torque of 121.5Nm.
If we talk about features, this car includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paddle shifters, cruise control, auto AC and roof-mounted AC vents for second row passengers. In terms of safety, the car includes dual airbags, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchorage, an electronic stability program (ESP) and a hill-hold assist. Higher trims additionally get two side airbags, taking the total number of airbags to four.
Talking about the mileage of Ertiga, it offers a mileage of 20.51 km per liter in manual gearbox, 20.03 km per liter in automatic and 26.11 km per kg in CNG.
