Alan Musk's Tesla has announced to open the showroom in Delhi. The first showroom in Mumbai was open. The delivery of Tesla model Y will start soon. Delhi's showroom will open in aerocity.

First showroom opened in Mumbai
Last month, the American electric vehicle giant opened its first showroom in the country in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) of Mumbai and launched its electric midsize SUV, Tesla Model Y at an initial price of about Rs 60 lakhs. The delivery of Tesla model Y is expected to begin in the third quarter of this year. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also attended this high-profile launch in Mumbai, who praised Tesla's entry into the state and invited the company to establish research and development and manufacturing facilities there.
The Tesla model is available in Y two variants. The first version is a standard rear-wheel drive with a 60kwh battery with an approved range of 500 km, and the second version is a long-range rear-wheel drive, with a 75 kwh battery. Once charged, a distance of up to 622 km can be covered.
Direct to customer
The company has said that buyers from Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Gurugram will be given priority in delivery, where vehicles will be transported directly to customers' homes on flat-bed trucks. The company has also updated its website so that there can be a service of vehicle registration in all states and union territories, so that the initial launch can expand the reach from the cities. Tesla has listed his full self-driving (FSD) feature as an optional feature for Rs 6 lakh, but this advanced technology will be made available in India later.
