New Delhi. The latest model crashed by Global NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) includes upcoming Maruti Victoris. This midsize SUV has emerged as the winner by achieving a full 5-star rating in adult and child safety. This model was tested according to the new protocol of GNCAP. Victoris includes Standard 6 Airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Padestron Safety, while ADAS (Automatic Driving Assistant System) is available as options.

Adult and child safety
Maruti Victoris scored 33.72 out of 34 in adult safety. The report said that the driver and the passenger's head and neck area get good safety in this car. The driver's chest received enough safety, while the passenger's chest got good safety. SUV gave good safety to the driver and passenger's knees as well as the driver's left tibia and the passenger's tibias. In the SUV, the driver's right tibia got sufficient safety. Bodyshell and footwell area were described as capable of tolerating more loading.

In side impact, Victoris gave enough safety to the chest and good safety to the head, stomach and pelvis. In side pole impact, safety of head, chest, stomach and pelvis was also good.
