Toyota Innova High Cross has achieved a 5-star safety rating in the BNCAP crash test. Got 30.47 marks in Adult Occupant Protection and 45 in Child Occupant Protection.

Innova High Cross secured 30.47 marks out of 32 for adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 45 out of 49 for Child Opening Protection (COP). This includes a dynamic score of 24 out of 24 due to the Isofix anchor and recommended child restants support.
In the AOP, the vehicle scored 14.47 out of 16 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test. While most body areas, such as heads and legs got 'good' safety ratings, the driver's chest and the left tibia got 'appropriate' ratings. In the Side Movable Deforble Barrier Test, Innova High Cross scored 16 points, in which all body parts got 'good' protection ratings. MPV also passed the side pole impact test, where it received a 'fine' rating.
5 star safety rating
In the Child Occupant Protection category, Innova High Cross scored 45 out of 49, giving it a 5-star safety rating. It got the perfect score in the Dynamic Test (24/24) and the Child Restless System (CRS) installation assessment (12/12). In the vehicle assessment section, MPV scored 9 out of 13 points. The tests were conducted using dummy representing 18 months and 3 -year -old children.
